2 nights at The Retreat @ Borah Farm

We enjoyed the peaceful and quietness of the pond site. the vast property is a great place to walk and explore. We foraged for wild Blackberry's for a tasty cobbler. The horses on the property are friendly and a very nice addition. Our miniature schnauzer and we enjoyed getting acquainted with the horses and they followed us around while we foraged and explored the property. We will be back!

Every corner felt like a hidden gem, from the scenic trails to the serene spots ideal for relaxing and taking it all in. What made the experience even better were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. You can really tell they care about their land and the people who visit it. Kelly’s land was absolutely wonderful for a weekend of tent camping. The Sterling pond campsite was so spacious and serene. The fields of flowers were beautiful to walk around in and the forest hikes were so peaceful. We definitely felt like we were alone in the wilderness and it was so perfect. I would highly recommend!

Such a cozy place to stay, was on my first solo trip and I felt SO safe and the host were the sweetest. They also had a nice heated bathroom to get ready in and a good outdoor kitchen space, great if you van camp!

4 nights at A Little Piece of Paradise

This little slice of heaven was fantastic! The tub and the shower were an out-of-body experience. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked! We enjoyed daily walks around the acreage, including the pier over the pond with the glass bottom and the sweet ponies who loved pets. The floor in the cabin was astounding. Many various materials and colors are beautifully patchworked around the entire cabin. It does make it inaccessible for people with mobility issues (but there aren’t any accessible entrances to the cabin either). Gilberto responded quickly and worked hard to make the space very welcoming. We will definitely be back and have already suggested it to several friends.

We loved our couple of days at the schoolhouse. It rained one of the 2 days out there, but we had the place all to ourselves since we were there the two days after Christmas.

It was a great location that was peaceful and Harlan was a great host who was helpful and kind. We enjoyed the farm atmosphere and having the goats wandering by now and then!

1 night at Double D Ranch Guest Cottage

I had the most amazing stay at this charming small cottage! The place was cozy, spotless, and surrounded by beautiful scenery that made it feel like a true getaway. The host went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. From the warm welcome to their helpful recommendations for local spots, they were attentive yet respectful of our privacy. The little thoughtful touches, like fresh flowers and a stocked kitchen, made it feel so special. I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!

We loved tent camping in Music Springs. The way the sunlight pours through the pines was so lovely. The space is kept beautifully and extra special with the bulb lights and well maintained grassy area. The hosts are so kind and accommodating. The bathrooms even have a little heater inside. Overall a peaceful little getaway for our family and we highly recommend this spot. Thanks!

Discover Tara and the myths surrounding the secrets of the vines. TARA was named after the sailboat TARA, pierce family started the vineyard in 2006 and opened the winery in 2007. The historic Murchison mansion is an iconic structure in the midst of the vines. Onsite tasting room and restaurant with share plates and full meals. In 2023, we have added a beautiful 50 ft pool with lovely water features, there is an activity fee to use the pool. Please plan to arrive before dark, so you can get settled in the daylight. We do not have 24 hour staff. Learn more about this land: Camping throughout the Tara Vineyard property. We have primitive sites available in the wooded trail. If you would like a beautiful view of the winery property, ground camping throughout the vineyard is available and most popular ! There is quick access to our winery and food service if you prefer to relax under our covered patio, or pick up a rib eye or filet from the chef and cook it yourself on your propane grill our our community grill. Enjoy your hand crafted estate wine from TARA winery while camping under the stars. You can be among others or select a remote location. Fires permitted only in designed fire pits. No exceptions.
