Our property is 90 acres, consisting of fields, hardwood forests, and Rock Creek. The campsite is next to small waterfalls that flow past soft grassy banks, under the shade of oak trees. The creek is wide and shallow and the waterfalls create a tranquil ambiance. We have chickens (no roosters), cats (only 3), and an abundance of natural wildlife. Only enough land has been cleared for structures so it's all wooded and every structure was built by us and is unique and one of a kind. We are all excited to offer an RV site to park a camper or pitch a tent if you want to bring a couple of friends. There is a separate charge for this. This site does offer electricity but water and the bathhouse are shared. This site is only offered to your group and there will never be campers in that space while you’re there.

This is a great site! Flat/soft ground for a tent, several tree options for a hammock, beautiful views and a couple of waterfalls nearby to lull you to sleep! The host was quick to respond and very helpful. We’ll book again in the future.

The host is a good human. The site is tucked away from road and offers plenty of privacy. It's a pretty area. I'd definitely stay there again. Convenient for anyone traveling or just looking for a quick rural getaway. Definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Rock Creek Wooded Campground

My friends and I had so much fun camping on Faye's land. We were a group of 6 people and 4 dogs and booked 2 sites. We were fortunate enough to be the only campers that weekend. The sites are unmarked and there wasnt a clear separation of the sites (e.g. treeline) so we were a bit confused where each of our sites were. But seeing as we were the only campers, we set up camp on what we all presumed was one of our sites. I imagine if there were other campers with us that it wouldn't be as private since the sites are pretty much open. There are trees spread out sporadically but not enough to cover your view to another site. Faye was kind enough to leave us firewood and there were enough fallen limbs and logs on the ground to forage for more when we needed. Now onto the BEST part: the creek. The creek was STUNNING and the stream was super lively. All of us (and our dogs) LOVED wading and swimming in the creek. The water was so clear and refreshing to the touch. AND we spotted an otter swimming in it!!! Such an awesome and unforgettable experience! I would book with Faye again for another camping trip with a large group, especially if we are the only ones there :).

Faye’s property was a great time! It was perfectly private and relaxing. The creek was probably our favorite part of the site. I would recommend going if you have a large group, as the sites are close enough to all camp together. The bathroom was clean and only a few minutes short of a walk to it from the campsite. (To find the bathroom, just walk down the trail until you see the playground, turn into it and it will be the door on left side of the white building)

Great little spot for a night away with my 16 year old daughter. I’m a city person so loved that this wasn’t too remote but still private. They have everything you need to cook and relax. The bath house is nice and unique. Really enjoyed our stay and will come for longer next time.

Overall, we really loved this cabin. There are a lot of cute touches with the art work and cat perches. It was well appointed for camping (glamping?) and had games, cooking pans, and lighter, etc. Cute and cozy.

Mitch and Lori took a lot of care in designing this place and it really shows.

Gretta's place was really delightful! The road getting in is a bit difficult for low cars and the road down to the bluff definitely would need 4 wheel drive. The firepit was nice, along with the table and chairs and the bluff view and creek were very lovely! I would definitely go back!

Loved this campsite and its close proximity to several great hiking trails! The running creek water made for the perfect sleep sound and it was nice to have access to a bathroom! Not to mention, my dog enjoyed being off leash and bringing me all the sticks he could find.

What a beautiful spot on the creek! Our friends were in the cabin, which was very close. There is a bathroom and shower that you can walk to, which was also nice. It was maybe 5 minutes away. There was a swing set near the bathroom, which our younger friends enjoyed. The water spigot was also very convenient. Playing in the creek and falling asleep to the rushing water was definitely the highlight!
