You get there on a gravel road with 2wd as long as your car has 5.5" of clearance. (google your car) Heartstone tent site is a stunningly beautiful, romantic campsite for 2! There is a new, large tent pad if you have children! The Diamondstone site is also a unique, beautiful, one-of-a-kind site! It has a beautiful, furnished, shelter cabin is provided for you instead of using your tent!!! Leave your tent and the set-up at home! There is also room for a tent and your children out front, right beside the creek! Islandsite is an equally beautiful tent site ideally for two, but the 10x12 platform can accommodate a 6-man tent, best for 2 adults and a couple of kids! The Sanctuary offers an unparalleled experience where nature meets comfort, allowing you and your group to unwind and reconnect with the tranquil surroundings. We have added multiple tree swings throughout the forest. We are uniquely situated on the edge of the Tennessee Cumberland Plateau and the Tennessee river valley. We are currently offering 4 treehouse dwellings to share our peaceful land full of God's promises. The dwellings are spaced far enough apart for privacy yet not to far of a walk to the common area where the kitchen and shower are. You'll be surprised at how cool the tents stay under the forest canopy in the heat of summer. Then in the colder months we have various heating options to keep you cozy in 3 of the dwellings I hope you come to share this with us, it's an amazingly peaceful area. Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful this spot is. The stream, the trees, the quiet. I have camped in almost every state, and this is easily one of my favorite sites. The road in a bit bumpy, but doable. I easily made the trek in a civic. The road is also great for taking a scenic walk. The covered porch was perfect for a rainy afternoon, and the heater was a welcome addition on cool autumn evenings. Close to the stunning Joyce Kilmer Wilderness & Nantahala National Forest. I hope to come back again!

We loved this site! The creek is so peaceful and the cabin was perfect. The site is easy to find using Brian’s directions. I’d recommend getting there before the sun goes down because it is very dark (but great for stargazing!).

Perfect spot to disconnect and be in a serene place all weekend! PLEASE BEWARE there is a giant active yellow jacket nest right on the bank of the creek at the site. If you have kids or are allergic, just be mindful. Brian was very easy to communicate with. The directions he sends you beforehand are spot on and we had no problem getting there. We did download an “offline map” (iPhone) before we lost service which was great to use on the way out of there. Wasn’t necessary but it was helpful. Even during the day, the cabin is pretty dark so bring extra lighting. Everything was very clean. The wood stove kept it nice and cozy. We will definitely be back!

Staying here is amazing. No complaints. You can hear the stream down below by the tent sites when it’s quiet and it usually always is quiet. Camper was very nice and clean. Well worth the price. On clear nights you can clearly see the tail of the milky way galaxy when the seasons permit the viewing of the galaxy. The Number Stars that are visible to the naked eye are almost tripled compared to being in any town or city it can get pretty breathtaking. Sightings of black bear along the nearby white oak creek were frequent during the early morning and late evening hours so keep Yer eyes open while driving along the stream to the campground location as you may see some as well. (Be sure to follow all laws regarding bear or other wildlife as you are in their territory at that point) don’t keep trash outside of the camper and you shouldn’t experience a bear scare going outside early in the morning, although we did not see any bear at the campground itself during the two weekends we’ve stayed, they definitely frequent the area so just be cautious. Trout fishing in ALL of the nearby streams are great for fly fishing, insanely packed with trout they can even be found in streams that are as small as two ft wide and 5 inches deep it’s so nice. I will be staying again for sure as you can’t beat the rates and location.

Overall excellent experience, the neighboring campsite is just close enough to hear them if they’re loud at all, but otherwise no complaints. Unfortunately the neighbors had two very obnoxious aggressive dogs one of whom even ran over and bit my foot (lightly) the first day. Thankfully they left after the first night and we had the rest of the time to ourselves. We stayed during the last week of July and the water was cool but refreshing, our 8yr old loved playing in the creek. Bring a fan for the cabin if you’re coming during summer, but it’s cooler there than in robbinsville or out on the lake.

I have to admit I was a little anxious driving as far in as we did for this site - but it was well worth it. Do not pass up saving your directions sent to you ahead of time! Also definitely pack everything you need if youre not planning to venture out anywhere as coming and going takes a while. The cabin was lovely and cozy, plus the sound of running water made it even better! It felt like a dream that we had the whole spot to ourselves. I would highly recommend for a creek side camp spot! It was a well stocked cabin for an unplugged trip.

I absolutely loved the Stargazing Cabin! I was looking for a night to get away from everything and have a chance to just think, and thats exactly what I got. I went on a rainy weekend, and the sound of the rain mixed with the string lights and open curtains made for the most perfect, cozy evening. The common area is close enough to feel safe, but still secluded from the cabin. There was an abundance of small fans provided, and comfortable seating. I also loved the shower tree house! So much thought and love seemed to go into building this place. Can't wait to come back!

Nick and Tja are excellent hosts, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The camp was extremely clean, a beautiful setting. The camper was very homey and stocked with everything needed. The bed was very comfortable. We booked for the proximity to the AT, but will return to explore so much more. We look forward to more visits!
