A secluded hilltop property on 5 acres of trees, an easy 20 minute drive to Nashville. We have great sunsets up here on the hill, a peaceful little dead-end road. The campsite is at corner of our property, tucked just out of sight of our house a couple hundred feet away. You can even get a painted wood cutout version of your favorite creatures from Brett! (see extras and message us for availability) Stay in our camper, a 1963 Shasta, remodeled by us. We removed all of the old broken camper stuff and it is now a simple, colorful room inside, with a full size bed and some fun funky art from our collection. Enjoy an old VHS movie on the little tv, or some classic cassettes in the tape recorder.

Located only 15 minutes from the historic downtown Columbia, TN and one-hour from Nashville. You can have the best of both worlds! Our herd of 11 friendly horses are free-roaming, and will likely come and visit you at your campsite. This is the only campsite on the property and you will have complete privacy. Book a trail ride to enjoy the scenery from the saddle (please check on availability for rides.) Come and help with the morning feeding routine at the barn! There's great cell service at the campsite. The tent is equipped with up to 4 cots maximum (additional guests must bring their own sleeping set-up.) Each cot has a memory foam mattress made up with fresh linens. There is no electricity at the campsite, but we have plenty of solar lighting and a nice big fire pit. There is also a small wood stove inside the tent for cold weather camping! Firewood is $15/bundle (for wood stove and/or campfire) or you can forage your own! The barn has an outdoor propane hot water shower. The shower may not be available during the extreme cold. There is a pit toilet at the campsite and always a roll of TP in the tent. There is a large charcoal grill/smoker at the site. Please clean grill after use. If you are bringing your furr babies please bring something for them to sleep on. Do not let pets sleep on comforters, sheets, or pillows. The road to the campsite goes through a very small creek and up a little hill. Very low vehicles may bottom out. In the rainy months, campers need 4-wheel drive to get out to the site. Some items you will want to bring: *Camp chairs *Flashlights (we have a few small camp lights in the tent) *Cooking equipment and water We live on the property and will be available to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Originally a Revolutionary War grant farm, the property is 75 acres, 50 of which is wooded. There is a one acre spring fed pond with pond house for swimming and barbless hook fishing, a 15 acre hayfield, an 1882 home, a 1915 barn, outbuildings, organic garden, apple orchard, and beehives. The pond house has a hammock, or plenty of room on the floor for two sleeping bags in inclement weather. Tents can be pitched on the earthen dam. There is no electric or toilet available; campers must bring a camp toilet and remove all waste from property. Spring water for drinking is available just down the hill from the pond house. There is also a cast iron tub below the holding tank overflow where you can bathe in cold spring water with biodegradable soaps. The walk up to the pond is less than five minutes with about a 50’ elevation gain. Please arrive at least one hour before nightfall for setup. The pond is stocked with bass and sunfish and the occasional snapping turtle. Bullfrogs chorus at night, deer come to drink, and herons frequent the shore. Campfire permission will be weather dependent and will be discussed before your stay. There is plenty of deadfall available near the pond house.

Just 20 minutes south of I-40, tucked away in the hills and hollers of Hickman County TN, you will find a rural and peaceful little camping spot we call Fern Gully. The camping area is approximately 5 acres bordered on the south side by Fern Mountain and the north side by Morgan Branch Creek. Large grassy area with access to the creek. Price is for 6 per campsite. If you have additional kids, just let us know and you can bring 2 for the price of 1. Pitch your tent along the banks of pristine Morgan Branch Creek under mature Beech, Poplar and Sugar Maples, string up a hammock or come in your camper van. Deer frequent the area in early morning and late evening. Barred Owls and Red-Tail Hawks can been seen gliding silently through the valley anytime. Butterflies and dragon flies dance over the sparkling springs. Pets are welcome but for their safety and the safety of local farm animals we ask that you keep them leashed or under voice control at all times. Tank the little red very friendly Aussie may pop in for a curious visit as well. Morgan Branch creek is perfect for the little ones to stay occupied all day splashing and exploring. Nearby Cane Creek offers larger swimming holes. Bring a kayak, canoe or SUP or rent one for floating Piney River or Buffalo River. Great fishing can be found at the Buffalo or Duck Rivers, both about a 20 minute drive from camp. Explore the local farming communities. Next door to camp is a regenerative farm owned by a famous musician. Just message us for that contact info and a possible tour. You will also discover an abundance of local Amish farms selling fresh garden veggies & home goods (every day except Sunday’s) during the summer months. 4-Wheelers, ATV’s and UTV’s are a great way to tour the backroads of the Cane Creek Amish community. Please ride respectfully around horse and buggy travelers or near homes. Enjoy quiet walks or bike rides on our chert (red gravel) roads. Cycling and motorcycle enthusiasts frequent the area spring and fall. If you need a change from your camp cooking, make sure to stop into Cane Creek Market for the best ever deli sandwiches. (Closed Sundays). Drive on into Linden (20 minutes from camp) to Video Corner Cafe’ for gluten-free pizza, hamburgers or fresh catfish. Perfect for enjoying nature and/or visiting Nashville. Traveling with horses? They are welcome to use our fenced pasture. This site is for self contained RVs only, there are no restroom facilities. Check in is between 2 pm and sundown. No check ins after dark without prior approval. Limit of 2 vehicles and 2 pets. When you request to book just let us know how many people will be camping, how many pets you will be bringing with you and what you are camping in, travel trailer or motor home, and what length in feet it is. You may even hear the call of the whippoorwills in the evening. For those wanting to kayak or canoe, the Piney River is an easy commute of 20 minutes away. Bring your bikes for some of the best gravel rides in Hickman County! ***Amenities: Picnic tables and benches. We provide firewood and a composting toilet. ***A higher clearance vehicle is needed to traverse our steep gravel driveway. This is a walk-in site only due to creek crossings and narrow paths, vehicles are parked approximately 75 yards from campsite. Grace Farm’s Pond in the Woods

Originally a Revolutionary War grant farm, the property is 75 acres, 50 of which is wooded. There is a one acre spring fed pond with pond house for swimming and barbless hook fishing, a 15 acre hayfield, an 1882 home, a 1915 barn, outbuildings, organic garden, apple orchard, and beehives. The pond house has a hammock, or plenty of room on the floor for two sleeping bags in inclement weather. Tents can be pitched on the earthen dam. There is no electric or toilet available; campers must bring a camp toilet and remove all waste from property. Spring water for drinking is available just down the hill from the pond house. There is also a cast iron tub below the holding tank overflow where you can bathe in cold spring water with biodegradable soaps. The walk up to the pond is less than five minutes with about a 50’ elevation gain. Please arrive at least one hour before nightfall for setup. The pond is stocked with bass and sunfish and the occasional snapping turtle. Bullfrogs chorus at night, deer come to drink, and herons frequent the shore. Campfire permission will be weather dependent and will be discussed before your stay. There is plenty of deadfall available near the pond house.

A secluded hilltop property on 5 acres of trees, an easy 20 minute drive to Nashville. We have great sunsets up here on the hill, a peaceful little dead-end road. The campsite is at corner of our property, tucked just out of sight of our house a couple hundred feet away. You can even get a painted wood cutout version of your favorite creatures from Brett! (see extras and message us for availability) Stay in our camper, a 1963 Shasta, remodeled by us. We removed all of the old broken camper stuff and it is now a simple, colorful room inside, with a full size bed and some fun funky art from our collection. Enjoy an old VHS movie on the little tv, or some classic cassettes in the tape recorder.
