Looking for the perfect getaway, you will find some peace and quiet here! Only 14.6 miles from I-40 and located on 97 acres, this campground is surrounded by nature, very secluded and private. There is a crystal-clear creek that runs parallel with the driveway and fresh spring water flowing from pipe in the rock close to the entrance on American Way. The creek is bio-diverse, filled with fascinating species, and spring fed, which means it stays cool in the summertime. There are three beautiful homes which are able to be rented out as well as a fourth home that is for the property managers. The A-frame log cabin at the top of the hill is called the Lodge. The second home, which is a two-story brown log Cabin, offers individual bedrooms. The third home is the Cottage. This is a special place and we are happy and honored to share it with you!
Peaceful Hills Retreat, a family owned business, started in May of 2017. It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place.
Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. There are three beautiful spots for a lovely outdoor wedding. The waterfall site is a favorite. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors

This life-changing, wonderful foundation near Nashville, serves children all over our great nation who have sadly lost a parent who served in our military. In Wayne County about 5 miles from our location is the opportunity to spend the day canoeing or kayaking down the Buffalo River. Travel 40 miles northeast and enter an Amish Community for Amish shopping and Tours. Or go straight to the East about 30 miles and visit Lawrenceburg, TN and Davy Crocket State Park. Head 40 miles west discover all the history at the battle fields of Shiloh, just outside of Savanah, TN. And if Music is your interest 45 min south of is "Shoals". This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was incredible!! Jennifer left us incredible directions on how to get there avoiding dirt roads and also had wonderful directions on how to find fresh spring water to fill up our jugs. Loved everything about our stay!

My dog Sparky and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s Peaceful Hills. I chose the waterfall site and was immersed in calm, refreshing sounds of water slowly winding its way through the hills and to the creek just across the road. Sparky loved prancing through the creek and he looked like he was having so much fun that I followed suit and took a dip. It’s was chilly but felt oh so good! We took several hikes and made sure to veer off the beaten path now and again just to see what might be hidden around the bend. It was a lovely, relaxing and quiet stay and I would highly encourage a visit.

Perfect getaway! Host was kind and responsive. We enjoyed the creek, the spacious level campground, the seclusion and the beautiful property. Site even had power! + the cleanest porta potty ever. Hanging lights added to a quiet evening around the campfire and the sounds of the waterfall was the perfectly peaceful nature sound to fall asleep to. 10/10, highly recommend!

Love this spot! I almost cried this morning while we were packing up. It was clean, spacious and very quiet. We spent out days watching the cranes and fish and waving at others while on their morning or late afternoon walk. We will absolutely 💯 be back. Lori was an awesome host! Drove 13h to get here. Amazing camp site. Nice and secluded with a small waterfall. Comes with some lights and a camp fire.
The best part? The creek is a 30 second walk from camp and it’s amazing. Took our camping chairs and my dogs cot into the creek. Spend pretty much all day every day in the creek.
The host is super friendly and we bought some firewood from her (which she delivered to the camp).
You can also easily refill jugs of water down the street from a natural spring.
If you want to relax for a few days and have an amazing time, I highly recommend this.

The #1 Waterfall Site was amazing! We went in the middle of August, and even with temps around upper 80’s and low 90’s, the creek nearby and the lower land kept us pretty cool, and the night temps were nice and cool as well! The place is absolutely beautiful, and having access to the creek was a great way to cool off and spend some time with the kids.

Had a great stay at Lori‘s property! Plenty of space between sites, Direct water access which was great for kayaks and floats. Easy site to back into and hook up. Was concerned about how much gravel there was and how comfortable that would be, but it is very Fine gravel it was very comfortable under our outdoor rugs. Lori was extremely responsive and was a big help when we had to reschedule due to health issues. Definitely recommend!

Came out with a load of little kids and had plenty of space for two tents and two cars. The kids LOVED the waterfall and nearby creek to splash. We left early due to a flooded tent from very heavy rain, but that’s no fault of the site. We will be back for sure! Jennifer is very communicative and helpful.

While the site has very rocky ground and stayed mostly wet while we were there (with stormy weather the first day & night it never seemed to dry up), the privacy of the site and beautiful waterfall definitely made up for it. The whole campground was very quiet. The tree canopy blocked most of the night sky view, but it's only a short walk to open views for any stargazers. Site was big enough to accommodate 2 large tents (6-8 person tents), shelter, and 2 vehicles. Porta potty was VERY close, seemed like basically a private bathroom for the site.
The directions given by the host to the campground and specific campsite were very specific and extremely helpful, especially since there is no cell service there.
The hiking was fun though very steep.
The eggs & firewood extras were definitely worth it.
Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Beautiful spot - peaceful sleeping and easy access to the creek and waterfall. The trees (and an existing guyline - I couldn't tell if that was there by choice or left by a previous camper) were spaced perfectly to set up my rain tarp. Though it didn't rain in the end, I never worried about the set up. We didn't stay long but I would definitely recommend. The creek was cold and clean, just beautiful!
