Our “Group Glamp” is perfect for larger groups and features a huge campfire with Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, stage with electricity, string lights, water, a clean port-a-potty, four private outdoor showers with on demand hot water and four electric posts for tents. 40 acres Located in beautiful Dover TN 5 miles from Lake Barkley & the Cumberland River. Conveniently located a few miles from town, far enough that it is quiet, but close enough that it is not a long trip to town.
The property features a variety of thriving wildlife due to our fresh water stream that gently flows through the property year round. The stream is roughly ankle to hip deep depending on the area. The water is crystal clear and safe to play in if you have little ones. Walk along the stream and discover all kinds of fish, turtles, beautiful river stones and possibly see a beaver or 2. If you have Archery equipment, you can use our Archery Range.
The property is split by a 2 lane road. 7 acres to the North and 33 acres to the South. The smaller side is flat with many trails, fresh water stream and a gravel road. It features relatively junior trees and is home to a family of Whitetail Deer. The Southern side of the property features a mature hardwood forest full of giant white oak trees. Be sure to put on your hiking boots though, because there's a few Hills to climb. Three hills that form a beautiful valley in the center, with another fresh waterstream. The valley was once home to a 1700s settlement, so you may find some artifacts. (We just ask that you leave them where you find them.) Main trails are marked clearly with large reflectors for safety. With the near-by wildlife refuge you are sure to see and hear a variety of wildlife.
We have large steel firepits in every campsite. So feel free to bring your own firewood! Enjoy a good book or nap while relaxing in a hammock. Swing with a loved one while over looking the fresh water stream. Walk down along the stream and collect rocks, feed the fish, or go for a dip! Currently our property is very Primative, whichever there is no electricity or plumbing. We do offer clean composting toilets & a locking gate at night for your security.

The property is on a mountain ridge and community of large acreage properties ranging from 5 to 70 acres +. You'll be a 11 minute drive from the small town of Linden for easy access to a grocery store, restaurants and the Commodore Inn and Cafe. Five minutes to the Buffalo River with several kayak, canoe and tubing rental outfitters available from town or close by.
Currently 'off grid' At the entrance is a concrete parking pad where an RV can park and enjoy a lovely view of the Loblolly pine forest below.

Access to the waterfall is down a fairly steep mountain slope so accessible only for the adventurous.

Absolutely beautiful property and perfectly peaceful. The sites were very spacious. The ground is pretty much all creek bed and rock so wear sturdy shoes and plan to bring your own toilet solution. There’s a camp toilet sitting over a pit but it’s not what most are used to or prefer.
10/10 would recommend and will be booking several more times.

We loved staying at Hidden Valley. The rv spot is surrounded by trees, a cute little creek, a hiking trail, plus full hookups & wifi. Family and dog friendly space, yet feels quite private. Only about 25min to downtown Nashville!
It's the perfect spot, a nature lovers delight ❤️

Dan and Mandy were excellent hosts. We camped in campsite 10 which was big enough for two families with dogs. There was plenty of firewood to be gathered. Dan and Mandy were responsive, extremely accommodating, and checked in the right amount. They are very passionate about their campground and it shows. The bathrooms were well lit and fully stocked. Look forward to coming back here with the kids! There is a swimming hole on site but the water was low due to lack of rain recently. It was still knee high and felt refreshing. The kids loved walking through the water. The star gazing at night was incredible. There is no city lights. Will definitely come back!

The property is wonderful. We stayed on site 7. My dad stayed on site 9. The way the sites are set up. While sitting outside your camper, you are facing the woods. This makes it feel like you are not even at a campground. With my dad’s camper next to us (end to end) we had a ton of room for us to spread out. Troy and Jodi were extremely nice and came over to say hello. Would definitely recommend staying at this campground.

This is my second time camping at Troy's place. It has everything you need as a camper - electric, water, sewer (at each site) and fiber internet (at each site). It's a great get-away and yet only about 10 minutes from Liden TN if you need to pick something up at the local grocery store. It is also near several kayak rental places. You will enjoy your stay!

WOW!!!
Don't hesitate to stay here.
First, this is only an hour away from our home but the drive there was beautiful. We didn't know it was so pretty.
When we arrived, we met Jody. She's so warm and genuine. The campground is under construction but it is wonderful. We met Troy as he took a break from working hard just to say hello and welcome us.
At night the campground has beautiful lights not big street lights but lanterns that provide just enough light.
Do yourself a favor and take a drive. We didn't use GPS for our drive we just drove. So beautiful!!
This campground is a hidden gem. Full hookups with WiFi!
We will be back often.

Beautiful piece of land. We had the whole place to ourselves. Stream was relaxing to hear throughout the night, mosquitoes sucked but it was bearable with a candle repellent. Walked along the stream for about a half mile and started seeing some crazy stuff, we didn’t realize we were off property. So be mindful of that. There is about 30 acres across the stream that you can explore. Poop but was riddle with spiders, but again nothing we couldn’t handle. Felt very safe as well.

My two kids and I absolutely loved our stay! Melissa’s property is beautiful, and so clearly well loved. We camped tucked back in the woods with beautiful old growth trees and a clearing that shows you the stars. It was private, peaceful, and Melissa was an exceptional host. We’ll absolutely be back for another stay and the chance to explore the property further!

Beautiful property in the country. Everything was exactly as described. Quiet and peaceful. Her partner came out to help when I dropped my motorcycle and was kind and friendly. Beware that access to the group camping area and showers was slippery and a little steep by motorcycle after a rain but should be fine in an automobile (I was prewarned). I would stay there again.

This was a great campground - facilities are perfect. Full hookups and even our own WiFi router for just our site! Nasty/stormy weather for the weekend we visited, so we didn’t get out to explore much, but we’d definitely come back here if we’re in the area.
