There is also a futon for additional guests.. There is a floor in the dome and both small screen windows and full panel windows for airflow and to keep out bugs. The sandcastle is a "glamping" tent. :-) Because it gets cold in the evenings, we have special insulation in the cooler months to keep you warm, along with duvet and blanket there is also a heater for winter and small ac for summer. The bathroom is private. It is VERY IMPORTANT that only toilet paper goes in the toilet. We have a super sensitive septic system. We have a small trashcan for any feminine products etc. You have your own parking spot and there is a short 30 foot trail to your yurt. Food and restaurants are very nearby in town and I provide a complete list of all my recommendations.For guests who stay in the Sandcastle, there is an outdoor shower, a pool, Also, a kitchenette and grill, fridge, sink, and personal fire pit are available for your use.We have an aquaponic pond with koi that feed our hydroponic vegetable garden and multiple bee hives that pollinate everything. We also have many fruit trees on the property. There is a pond for our ducks, and the intracoastal river that is just a walk down the street.Check out is no later than noon.Guests are encouraged to explore the 6 acre property, relax by the pond, on the deck or by the pool. I loved these trailers! We stayed for 3 nights/4 days. The campsite was super clean & cozy. It almost felt like camping in the 60's. The hot outdoor shower was a life saver in the cold weekend! There are trails to walk, horses to see, and a lot of peace & quite. I highly reccomend this place and will definitely be coming here again.

The firewood that was available made my stay, thank you Chad. Cut it SHORTER than diameter of fire rings please. It was so much better than hotel/motel. Coffee was excellent. Outdoor shower was great! hard to figure out how to operate, instructions would have helped.

We stay here every year...it never disappoints! Ron is a thoughtful and kind host...the property is well maintained, beautifully decorated,and is stocked with everything you need to have an excellent experience! Ron has added a new covered swing, which we loved and replaced several items to ensure proper working order (new grill and outdoor table/chairs). I chose this site the first year because it's pet friendly...we have returned each subsequent year because we absolutely love this place and feel so comfortable here with our Siberian Huskies!

I really enjoyed staying in the RV so close to the beach and many activities. Ron is very accommodating providing everything you could need for a wonderful camping experience. Including a state park pass to enjoy Edisto free of charge! Thanks again, Ron truly enjoyed your place. The decor is perfect Jurassic Park getaway! 😉

This was a great little quiet spot close to downtown and hiking areas. Camper had everything I needed and was comfortable. Love showering outside amidst the woods. Loved waking up and seeing the horses hanging out. Great spot.

Weekend Trip to Edisto Island Vacation Rental RV
Ron was an excellent host, greeting us at the campsite when we arrived! He even had firewood chopped up and everything. Ron helped us find an easy bike rental so we could explore the island on bike. Botany Bay is a close car ride away and beautiful at sunrise, as is sunset at the pier on state park land. Everything we were looking for in a summer camping trip: seclusion, great fire pit, and a necessity for June/July in SC: air conditioning. Such a good time! Thanks Ron!

The Dairy Farm and GlamCamp is all as-advertised. A little oasis on the edge of the city, with more than you need for a great glamping experience. Loved staying in the ‘64 Pathfinder, a well-restored camping trailer, clearly done by a craftsman with an eye for design, detail, and style. Fortunately the A/C works well, but I’ll look forward to coming back in cooler weather and staying in the Airstream in the Glam Camp ‘village’ across the way. Many thanks, Chad.

Weekend Trip to Glam Camp At The Old Dairy
What a fun little place! The attention to detail, the surrounding beauty, the welcoming atmosphere, the quirkiness of the camper, the comfort, and the location are my top favorites. This is an absolutely perfect fit for someone who wants to see the sights, explore nature, or just relax at the site! I am so glad we found this place for our weekend trip. We are actually already planning a return and bringing other family members along who can stay in the other two campers.
We enjoyed morning coffee in the camper, Tybee Island, walking the trails, seeing the horses, riding our bikes to downtown Savannah and the riverfront, and local restaurants.
Budget friendly with so many onsite and nearby amenities. Oh, and the outdoor (private) shower was the best!
