We provide a completely remodeled, furnished camper with full hookup, high-speed internet, use of the dock for fishing, crabbing or shrimping, feel free to harvest mussels and oysters in season, bring your kayaks or paddle boards for a lovely ride at high tide, or request to use one on the property. Fire pit by the marsh is open for guest use and provides a lovely way to end the day with evening views of the sunset over the marsh. Pets are welcome, we do have free range chickens, so if your dogs are not chicken-friendly or cat-friendly, please keep them on a leash if chickens are in the yard. We do garden year round and guests are welcome to forage the garden if produce is available. If you like eggs, check in with us for some free range eggs.

The Sandcastle offers a peaceful and inspiring respite from life in the Big City. We have goats, Zebu cattle, peacocks, ducks, a pig, chickens and a pet squirrel which are accessible to guests!Please visit our website to view our Local Guide.The spaceThe sandcastle is an incredible "Glamping" space and includes one queen bed with bedding. There is also a futon for additional guests.. There is a floor in the dome and both small screen windows and full panel windows for airflow and to keep out bugs. The sandcastle is a "glamping" tent. :-) Because it gets cold in the evenings, we have special insulation in the cooler months to keep you warm, along with duvet and blanket there is also a heater for winter and small ac for summer. The bathroom is private. It is VERY IMPORTANT that only toilet paper goes in the toilet. We have a super sensitive septic system. We have a small trashcan for any feminine products etc. You have your own parking spot and there is a short 30 foot trail to your yurt. Food and restaurants are very nearby in town and I provide a complete list of all my recommendations.For guests who stay in the Sandcastle, there is an outdoor shower, a pool, Also, a kitchenette and grill, fridge, sink, and personal fire pit are available for your use.We have an aquaponic pond with koi that feed our hydroponic vegetable garden and multiple bee hives that pollinate everything. As the day winds down to an end you can relax by a campfire or just head inside and kick back and watch a movie from the library of dvd's that are available. We love our farm animals and all things that we can repurpose. The farm is tucked back in the woods far from the main paved road, providing the ultimate in peace and quiet. There's nothing quite like our place in the lowcountry! No light pollution makes for amazing star gazing and our glamping sites are private. You don't have to worry about glamping near other people. Play with our goats, collect eggs for breakfast and pick some fresh produce in our garden. Our glamping cabin is big enough for the whole family. There's a queen size mattress that everyone swears is a little piece of heaven, along with a twin size sofa bed that has a twin trundle pull out. For extra sleeping space we've added a futon that converts to a full and there's a cot under the big bed. Relax in the private water trough pool. You also have your own private outhouse with a spacious outdoor heated shower. The cabin has electricity and a small kitchenette. Keep in mind our farm is completely off grid, this means limited electricity & no AC. It gets extremely hot and humid in the south. Especially during the day. There is a fan in the glamping cabin but as of right now we do not make enough electricity to power ac systems at the glamping sites. We are a working farm not a campground or camping resort. The farm is also located in the woods so there will be bugs of all kinds. We do not use pesticides on our farm. Many of our farm animals roam the farm, this includes horses, goats, our dog, many cats, chickens, ducks & our one goose.

We renovated it in 2022 and 2023, and turned it into a cozy, midcentury modern style Glamper. We tried to plan for every comfort you could want or need, from wifi and a smart TV, to a cute bathroom, Keurig and an Air Fryer. We hope you love it as much as we do. Please note, it is tight quarters, especially for more than two people and large framed people. For this reason, we only allow two guests. We live on a busy street, but the backyard is peaceful and serene. The airstream is parked next to our creek, where waterfowl abound. Only one vehicle allowed.
