Our location is very "country" with lots of wildlife (deer, fox, rabbits, birds, etc...) roaming about. It is very quiet in the evenings and overnight. The campsite has a large paver stone patio and picnic table. We have a fire pit and when able we would be happy to host a night around the fire. We are pet friendly but request that dogs be on a leash or tie-out. We expect guests to pickup pet "litter". Campers are encouraged to use the swing and chairs set back under the pines. Also campers will find a guest book in the little library under the pine tree with a concrete bench nearby (you drive around in as you pull into the campsite). The book contains our WiFi password (service not guaranteed). Please leave us a note about your stay.

I live here full time, with two cats & 5 chickens whom are all free range. I live here in a double wide by myself, two outdoor cats. Deer, fox, rabbits, hawks and the like are common visitors. This is brand new to me, lots of improvements to be made in the future to make a guests stay even better, so for right now it’s bare bones. Can accommodate tents or certain campers. No pump out, no electricity or running water for “sites” yet, if ever, but running water is here and available for free. Additions to come soon: outdoor shower, available compost toilet available for rent while here, fresh herbs, vegetables, fresh local eggs, firewood, and covered gathering/ cooking area (not built yet) and much more, I’m really excited. Open to idea’s and options. No fireworks/ gunfire allowed at anytime, no “parties”, but gatherings, campfires, games and fun always welcome. I prefer meeting guests apon arrival to answer any questions and help all feel comfortable. I do have medical conditions that may prohibit it at times though.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Family Stay at Double LLC Farm. My family of seven spent two wonderful days at Double LLC Farm, and it was exactly the kind of weekend I hoped to give my kids. From the moment we arrived, they were completely in love with the animals , petting them, exploring the farm, and enjoying the freedom to run and play in a peaceful, safe space. Even the camper neighbors were friendly, which made the whole environment feel warm and welcoming. What truly made this stay special were Lisa and her husband. They are some of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve met in North Carolina. Their hospitality, warmth, and professionalism made us feel like more than guests. People like them give you hope in humanity, and small businesses run with this much heart deserve all the support in the world. My kids were sad when it was time to leave because they loved the animals, the quiet atmosphere, and especially the kindness of Lisa and her husband. The farm is peaceful, fun, and perfect for families who want to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with each other. I would recommend Double LLC Farm to anyone. We needed a place to stop over night and Double L fit the bill. Lisa, the host, was very responsive, welcoming, and met us at the gate to guide us to our spot. Since we were there only one night, we didn't get a chance to check out the farm attractions. It felt safe and not crowded at all. All the hookups were in good condition and easily accessible. Our only issue (and this was really on us) is that the electric was 50 amp and we have 30 amp. A quick drive to Wally world for an adapter that I had been meaning to buy anyway solved that problem. Quick access to the interstate got us on our way quickly the next morning. We would stay again. Thanks for the southern hospitality, Lisa!

Wonderful open site within seconds from Hwy 17. East, direct access for our kayaks to Town Creek. Had a lovely 2 hour trip! George and Sean were easily accessible (my newbie self had a dead truck battery) and they helped me on a Sunday AM! Such a neat spot close to Wilmington. Highly recommend.

It's a great place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. Greg met me shortly after I arrived and greeted me. I spent a couple of days driving around the area to see the sights. The late afternoons and early evenings I spent on the patio enjoying the weather.

Nice place to stop for a night. Great communication and assistance from very friendly hosts. This is a quiet location on a friendly farm and rv community with easy access from I-95.

Easy stopover spot a handful of miles off of I-95. Lisa and Brian were super easy to work with. Double L has good "sense of place" -- off the beaten path, wake up to a misty neadow full of grazing cows, sun streaming through a grove of southern pine-- a nice slice of southern NC. Chatted with Brian about the rest of the farm operations (goat's milk and butcher shop) but we did not have time to visit these onsite establishments during our short stay. Bath facilities were clean and conveniently located.

Just stopped in for 1 night on my way to Daytona. Very nice looking place. easy in a d out, pull thru spot. Quiet slept great hooked back up and hit the road early morning.

We had a wonderful stay at Laurel Oaks Estates and would absolutely return. The setting is beautiful and very nature-focused, which was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We stayed in RV site #1, which faces the horse pasture, and it was such a peaceful view to wake up to each day. The entire property is very quiet, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of nature — lots of birds and even the calls of peacocks. From the estate and a nearby farm, you can also hear roosters and cows, which really gives it that classic Southern Lowcountry feel. One of the things we loved most was how secluded the property feels while still being close enough to conveniences for grocery shopping and other needs. It’s a great balance of peaceful retreat and accessibility. The RV site itself is excellent — a flat, level concrete pad with full hookups. There are two RV spots, and both are set up nicely with picnic tables, fire pits, and Adirondack chairs, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We especially enjoyed walking our dogs along the wooded trails and exploring the other glamping options on the property. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into each camping setup. Overall, this is a really special spot if you enjoy nature, quiet surroundings, and thoughtful accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff was amazing! Even helped when we encountered a dead battery on out towed vehicle. Thanks guys. Everything was top notch. Enjoyed looking out on the pond and watching to geese.
