Wide open and very casual. Our stay worked out perfectly. Close to primitive dispersed camping with a brand new portable-potty on site. We were happy campers. Only complaint would be the highway noise as they are close to Rt 74.

2 nights at Boho Hideaway
This was a great experience! The yurt was awesome and the hosts had everything you would need to enjoy yourself. It rained for the 2 days we were there, but the yurt stood strong with no leaks. I loved listening to the rain on the tent at night. The short walk to separate cottage had a fully equipped kitchenette, washer/dryer, and the bathroom was huge with a fantastic waterfall shower head. We had a small issue with the washer that just a phone call to the hosts was made, and they were there in minutes to fix it. It is located within 5 miles to the beach and was just a short drive to great waterfront restaurants! We will definitely be back! I highly recommend The Boho Hideaway!

Stayed enroute to final destination. The location was easy to access from the interstate and as advertised. There were quite a few people fishing as day-guests so if you have time to fish, it's probaly a good spot.

Great spot, huge pond for fishing, caught Bowfin and largemouth bass on the fly rod. Land owners are very, very nice folks. You drive across a giant cow pasture to where the camping spot(s) are. As long as it’s dry, 4x4 or high clearance not needed, but if your vehicle is very low, just take your time and go slow and you will be fine. Not sure what driving across the pasture would be like after heavy rains, so I guess that would just be a decision of the land owners. Was there in June and it was very buggy at night, so just bring bug spray. There were numerous people showing up to fish the pond while I was camping, almost like I was camping on a public pond. No one bothered me at all, but some did get pretty close to the spot I chose to set up my camp so there was not “total privacy”. This is a really cool spot though, very unique, and lots of room for any sized tent, vehicle, RV or trailer. The land owner said that I was free to roam the property and explore and choose any spot I wanted. There are wooded spots to camp at, in addition to under the big beautiful oak trees in the pasture that I chose for my spot. There was also a picnic table under the oaks and a porat-john, it was clean but had A LOT of bugs in it! I will/would definitely camp here again!

Great experience with our RV camping by Sadie's Catfish Pond. We truly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time fishing in some of the different ponds. We will have to add this place to our repeat list!

This is a wonderful place. Well taken care of, private and well set up for all types of campers. The bathroom was clean, the sunset views amazing, our dogs loved it! and the fishing… this is an unexpected treasure. Carla and the folks at Lowrys were extremely gracious and accommodating, true southern hospitality.

This was absolutely perfect for my group to stay at. We were pretty desperate for a place to stay when I booked this, and Carla was friendly, flexible, and quick to communicate. Upon arrival after a VERY long day, our hosts saw how tired we were and offered us the already set up tent/yurt. This was a blessing in so many ways as we had an early morning and it stormed pretty bad in the night and would've most likely destroyed our own tent. They were so awesome in everything!

I knew I would be passing thru and in late. Though my reservation came in just a few hours before arriving, I was able to quickly make contact with Carla. We maintained great communication. The land was well maintained, the pond was beautiful (huge catfish), specious, and quiet. Sweet folks, perfectly located, I’ll be stopping in again.

What an amazing place. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Surrounded by nature, ambiance and animals I couldn’t have found a better place to stay on a quick stop while traveling. My only negative is that I didn’t stay longer. Carla, Abner and their dad were some of the best people you could ever meet and this place will be one of my favorites from now on. I will definitely come back.

I have actually been there twice in the last month! Talk about peaceful! I pitched my inflatable tent just feet from the water, fished while kicking back next to my camp fire and cooked some liver and onions. The property has ample shade trees, nice hiking trails and plenty of farms animals to make it feel like the farm it is. Carol, Earlie and Mr. Ray made me feel right at home. I plan on going back time after time again! It's close to where I live but it has that nice country feeling that I needed to bring back those memories of growing up in the country. Love it! Love it!
