7 nights at PR Rainforest Retreat
This is a really special place! The campsite is very comfortable and well equipped. The land is very beautiful. Lush jungle, towering mountains, gorgeous waterfalls and swimming holes. There is a very peaceful and lovely meditation hall. The whole experience is very private and quiet. Sana and Papo are very kind, attentive, responsive and non-invasive. The ocean is a wonderful hour drive away. (the mountain roads are no joke, I was grateful to have a jeep).

Es un lugar mágico y especial…sencillamente es un paraíso. Estuvimos dos noches y mejor no la pudimos pasar. Las facilidades están muy limpias y adecuadas para hacer un camping diferente. We spent 3 nights here and it was so good. Literally sleeping in the rainforest. The space is well equipped and we did plenty of cooking while there. Surrounded by banana trees and waking up to the sounds of birds and the river were our favorite parts. We took 2 of Papos yoga/meditation classes and they were a great way to start the day. After we explored the expansive property trails and swimming holes. We are already looking at our calendar to come back! A couple tips, make sure to stock up with supplies in town to limit the trips up and down the mountain. Also we found headlamps to be helpful in the evening.

Andres has a unique site with amazing views,
a convenient kitchen, very clean bath, and spacious covered decks. His directions were precise and helpful. I felt welcome and comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout my stay including recommendations for local restaurants (Meraki) and local places of interest (Toro Negro).

It’s such a beautiful land! The owners and each worker that I got to talk to were so nice!! I felt safe at all times.
If you like camping, but still need the basic necessities (shower and toilets) this is the place.

Espacioso y agradable! El baño puede ser mejor pero el área nos encantó y es de fácil acceso con Panaderias y lugares cerca. Lo recomiendo. El baño es letrina, recomiendo que se lleven su baño portátil o también tienen una casa muy cerca que pueden alquilar si van en grupos grandes y pueden utilizar el baño de esa casa.
