If advanced notice, an hour Lesson or Ride can be scheduled. Our animals are friendly and love attention. Dogs welcome but need a leash. Our Family run Farm is willing to accommodate your needs. With good planning and if you prefer, we can be there to help you set up. The site will be clearly marked, and there is more than enough room to back in/out. We can host the largest of rigs (even up to 45 feet). As you can imagine, it takes a lot of mowing to manage grounds of this size. There is a red storage building (for our mower) about 10 yards from the site that we reserve the right to access. We want the place in top shape for you, and we will not mow or weed-wack near your site during your stay. We do have three well behaved pups, and we are about 60 yards away from this site in our cabin. Sorry to say, we are not yet comfortable with guests bringing pets, but this may change soon. Must love dogs, because we do take ours throughout the property for exercise. Though you will see sewer clean outs, our system is not equipped or available for RV septic use as this time. Tampering with or attempting to use the clean outs will likely lead to a discontinuation of your stay. Please forgive us, we are working on a plan for this in the future. It's very peaceful here and enjoy hearing the animals. The adorable goats introducedthemselvis as I was packing up in the morning. -so cute. I love Goats! (Rooster crowed just before my actual alarm clock-LOL). I value privacy and safety and slept well. I slept in my SUV. I have an airmattress and sleeping pad that keeps me comfortable. I plan to be back next time I need to travel to PGH.

Great Hosts, Great Communication! Stayed for 2 nights and the property is very clean and well kept. Plenty of fish in pond, Large Mouth Bass, Striped Perch, and Blue Gills. No cell service so you can unwind. Had a peddle boat for use, be we didn’t try it. Heard Coyotes in the evening. It was a wonderful weekend. Highly Recommend.

Brian’s land was ideal for my needs. Quiet and peaceful, and I felt very secure leaving my travel trailer while visiting Pittsburgh every day. It’s convenient for commuting to the city and very affordable. Brian himself was quick to respond and easy to communicate with (for instance, he was incredibly patient with my inability to find the sewer port and guided me right to it.) It’s no state park with tables and fire pits but it was absolutely perfect for my needs and I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area to visit folks in PGH

We had a great time! It was peaceful and relaxed. The critters were fun. We had visits from dogs, goats and a chicken regularly. Everyone that came was very respectful of our privacy but still super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Just remember, you need to be fully self contained. Plus this us a working barn with goats and chickens, you will smell it some. And, like any barn area, expect bugs, including a biting black fly that didn't seem too phased by OFF. Not Mendi's fault, it just is.

The driveway is steep but thoroughly negotiable. At the top, is a large area where we were able easily to back our 25' travel trailer into the designated spot, and we were able to leave without backing and filling. HOWEVER, after we set up our trailer, it rolled back off the blocks the jack was on! It was only caught by the wheel chock behind one of the rear wheels! Had it kept going, it would have rolled down the hill in front of the house and onto the road below. BE SURE TO CHOCK YOUR WHEELS FIRST THING! The angle is NOT steep, but it was enough for this incident. Also, Cliff Mine Road seems to have a split personality: a mile from Ian's place is an intersection. Three roads come into that intersection. Each of the three are named Cliff Mine Road. Ian lives on Cliff Mine / Enlow Road! Be sure to include the Enlow in your GPS navigation tool! This all sounds serious. One does need to be aware of these two matters. But Ian and Kaitlin are wonderful, and the spot is very nice. Electricity only -- no water or sewer, but for one or two nights (we stayed two), it was excellent.
