Great place to camp. Host are extremely knowledgeable and Friendly. They go out of their way to be sure your stay is pleasant. I would recommend staying here.

Had a technical issue but Bill made everything work out so perfectly. This is our second year to their camp and we will be back. Views from the top of the airfield are spectacular! So many awesome trails and water nearby for activities.

Met Bill last night, went on a ride around the property and picked a nice spot to stay on top of the runway. Pretty easy going guy, property clean, quiet, fields cut, water, bathroom, fire rings, etc. Anything you could need for a night or more.

We had an amazIng visit. Bill was so helpful and responded to our needs immediately. He was there to greet us the moment we arrived. The property is so spacious, peaceful and quiet. Our dogs had a blast on their walks. Bill gave us a tour of their property. We only wished we had more free time to enjoy all it had to offer. We will definitely stay here again. This property gets 2 thumbs up from us. Thanks for a great stay Bill and Erin.

Weekend Trip to Fairview Farms Airfield

Fairview Farms is an outstanding place to go camping. Bill met me upon arrival and made sure I was able to find the campsite (their farm is over 65 acres in size and although I had booked a specific spot with amenities, if you can go off grid then the camping spots are nearly limitless), came back later and gave us a tour of the farm, the animals, locations and views, helped us with firewood etc. There are a number of amenities you can add to your trip as well such as booking the hottub, or the zipline splashdown into the pond, meet the animals and so on. We were right along the side of the runway (sadly no planes used it whilst we were there) but we saw lots of lights as night all along and up into the trees with the fireflies, so many! The views are amazing, looking down across the runway into the layered misty wooded hills on into the distance. The price was excellent, cellphone coverage was good, easy to get to, just a few miles of the interstate, top notch hosts, very peaceful and will absolutely be going back for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

We loved the secluded area with outstanding views. It was a quiet spot with full hookups for our trailer. The host greeted us and showed us where to set up. He was close by if we had any questions but not intrusive.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fairview! We stayed for 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The site we chose was on a hill with a beautiful view of the hills and sky. It was very quiet where we were and we were not near any other campers, which we loved. The bathroom was cute and clean and not too far away. The farm was adorable with goats, cows, chickens etc and the wildlife was great too! So many birds, and also deer, bunnies and turkeys. Bill was very kind and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

This was our second time staying at Fairview Farm Airfield. My wife and I love it. Very quiet and relaxing. Bill and Erin are outstanding hosts, make you feel like part of the family. Always concerned about their guests enjoying themselves. They take a lot of pride in there property and it shows. There are some truly unique options at the farm from a finished barn, a small tree house, an old airplane, a few full hook up sites, and a bunch of rustic campsites, pretty much something for everyone. The stars are amazing at night. There is great walking and mountain biking trails nearby. Bill says that the airfield is not used very often but my wife and I are patiently waiting to see some one land on the runway. We traveled with our dog, Gracie. She absolutely loves her time there. We highly recommend using any of the rental options that Bill and Erin provide, you won't be disappointed!

4 nights at Pocono Point

Super friendly staff. They hosted a lovely Memorial Day event, too! Great location for exploring Jim Thorpe, Lehighton and Stroudsburg. We journeyed here as a family with two RVs and had two sites. I think we all preferred the Pull thru site to hang out at. It does take folks a few tries to get their Rigs aligned and level. There is a nice dog area, highway noise wasn’t that impactful and we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend it!

Second time visiting and love the view and freedom to roam the property and have many options for setup. The view is great and this has become our goto spot for a quick get away.

We absolutely loved camping on Bill's farm. We chose an area close to the animals and the bathroom, and had complete privacy in a beautiful field. Bill was so helpful and responsive. The shared bathroom was very clean! The surrounding area is lovely although not many amenities besides a diner and tractor supply. We went rock climbing at Boxcar Rocks (a worthwhile hike) and saw a movie at a cute local movie theater. We bought eggs from Bill and veggies from Oak Nut Farm. Would highly recommend. Next time we'll fly in 😉

1 night at Lakewood Park Campground

I travel for work (pro dog trainer) and pups and I were looking for a nice layover spot. While this campground was certainly far more busy than our usual stops of state parks and family-run HipCamps, it was perfect for what we needed! I can't remember the amazingly nice lady's name at the office (her pup's name is Cooper!), I would for sure give her 10 stars. She switched us to a pull through when she saw it was only one night and gave us one that was exceedingly quiet and private. We even enjoyed 20 mins walks around the lake. I HIGHLY reccomend for layover. I don't know about the other activities or bath-houses, etc, but it was immaculately clean, quiet and easy.

Gorgeous views, quiet and acres of grass airstrip! This layover was absolutely perfect for pups and yrs truly. We had lovely walks and I could train too. FYI, the road sign was missing so I was a tad nervous turning into the gravel road as I saw a 'No Trespassing ' posted sign. But it worked out and the hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive.
