Elk Haven Ranch consists of 40 acres at the base of a mountain range that is BLM federal land.   There is an elk herd and of course deer on the property. This property is a haven for them, no hunting is allowed.

If you are looking to throw a Frisbee with your dog in a forested and meadow setting, without tons of campers right next to you, then this is your place.  Room to roam, fresh water April through September and easy access to a common electricity plug-in where you can charge your cell phones and air mattresses on the electric pole by the entry gate.

If you are looking to play games, just ask us for the corn hole or horse shoes, or help yourself to the games already out and available.

Furnished Glamping tents provided for visitors.  Beautiful view, access to the river, family activities, visit the Butterfly Pavilion and Nature Discovery center.  Hot shower, kitchen, drinking water, microwave, refrigerator, propane grill, electricity are all in the shower/kitchen facility and battery or solar lights in the Glamping tents.  One mile from downtown Cave Junction with restaurants, markets and stores.  Forty five minutes to Oregon Caves National Monument.  Easy access to multiple hiking trails in the Siskiyou and Klamath National Forests.

 Here at Meadowview you will find a stately ring of venerable oaks beside a sweeping meadow vista crowned by Hope Mountain. Sleep under abundant stars, stroll or bike to crystal clear swimming holes on the east fork of the Illinois River, walk to our neighbor's charming farm store for fresh goat cheese, local produce, and wild wines, and explore the National Forest here on the ancestral lands of the Takelma people, 10 miles outside Cave Junction. Take a lovely winding drive to the Oregon Caves, or day trip an hour to the Redwoods and Pacific Coast. We offer many unusual experiences by arrangement, such as  trying on real suits of armor, and learning to make felted wool slippers. Be sure to check out our "extras" listings!
