Yurts are designed to withstand cold winters and this one is no exception. Temperature Control: The decking is insulated underneath to help with the cold winters. When the sun is out on a warm day the yurt will heat up nicely through the dome and can be cooled by opening the windows, the dome, and running the ceiling fan. Also keeping the outside windows up keeps the heat out if you get to hot. the yurt is equipped with a mini-split w/remoted, allowing personalized temperature control. Kitchen: We have everything you need to cook a meal at your home away from home. Refrigerator w/freezer, 2 burner cooktop, microwave, Keurig, and toaster oven. We loved spending the night in the tipi! We went for our son’s birthday. So clean and cute and the little extras that were in the tipi also!! The flower field near by is beautiful to check out! And even though we didn’t add on any of the extras but it was so cool that they are offered. We definitely want to go back for a date getaway.

The space was super clean and well maintained. It was nice location to hang out in the evening. I think we came a little late in the season for the pond, as it was quite low, but my son still had a bit of fun on the paddle boat. We did head down to Mann Reservoir (15min away), so we could bust out our paddle boards for a bit.

This was my second time here and it’s just as clean, quiet, and beautiful as last time. My dog loves the smells and freedom to roam. The place has so many little extras like the solar lights for paths at night that make it even more special. I came to try to learn some night sky photography and it didn’t diss along with stars! I will definitely be back.

3 nights at Upper Country Paradise Camping

Chris has created a peaceful space. We had to cut our trip short, but will definitely be back to enjoy the quiet, peaceful, wildlife filled oasis that Chris has created. You have the basic amenities you would need or want for a comfortable stay, plus some extras that Chris has so thoughtfully provided, should you need them. We really liked the fact that the closest neighbor is far enough away that we didn’t have to worry about our pup being off leash. Due to us having to cut our trip short, Chris was more than willing to work with us for a future stay, which was not expected in anyway, but GREATLY appreciated. If you are looking for a small town, quiet, peaceful oasis, this is THE spot.

Weekend Trip to Waterfront cabin and camping

This was absolutely breathtaking!! The long dirt road was an exciting adventure and the hosts met us when we arrived. Such a cute rustic cabin overlooking the river where you can walk and check out the area. They introduced us to the farm animals, which was such a delight. Purchased fresh ingredients from them for our breakfast and it was delicious! Lovely family and we definitely recommend! Thank you again for everything, until next time!

I loved to ambiance the Tipi & amenities inside & outside of the Tipi that was provided. The host was very accommodating & it was a great little place to get away from the day to day. I would highly recommend this place for anyway looking for a quiet little place to get away

3 nights at Cozy and POSH-est Yurt

The yurt was super clean and had everything you could need! Maybe bring some chairs to sit outside to look at the stars, but otherwise amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer and explored more. Just know everything is a minimum hour drive except Idaho city. Will not regret staying here!
