There are three campsites. Each site has plenty of space to set up a tent (or two) and its own firepit and stumps for sitting. This is Site 1 "Elderberry", closest to the falls.

The Falls at Elk Prairie

Centrally located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range between Portland and Salem, The Falls at Elk Prairie is a small, private, adult only campground that has newly opened in the fall of 2021. This isolated and remote campground will provide the quiet, peaceful and semi private camping experience you're looking for. Currently there are three camp sites located at the base of a forty foot waterfall flowing into a damned pond/ swimming hole. Each site has it's own primitive picnic table, seating and fire ring. The rest room is conveniently located nearby for privacy. The camp sites are accessible by a short walk, taking only a few minutes. Enjoy a variety of activities all close by, such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing and nature watching. The Molalla River Corridor, Table Rock Wilderness Area and Silver Falls State Park are all close by.

Dauenhauer Family Campground

This property is owned by Carl and Lores Dauenhauer and was initially operated as a multi-functional farm raising a thousand acres in various crops. In the early 1980's Carl and his children began planting grapes on the property and now the vineyard is the predominate feature for the farm. Most of the vineyard production is sold to wineries located across the state, however the family does retain a small amount of grapes each year for their private wine label "Hauer of the Dauen". You are welcome to stop by the farm for wine tasting on Saturday and Sunday's 12:00-5:00pm. The park and campground area is a recent addition to the farm and had been a vision of Carl's for quite some time. Carl usually goes for a walk through the vineyard in the during sunrise and sunset, weather permitting, and he loves to share his life-story with any campers who want to chat.

Crooked Finger Farms

As a working 67 acre organic farm, the property is very rural, but only an hour outside Portland, Oregon. We have gorgeous landscaped grounds and gardens, horses and a vegetable garden. 

Guests can explore private trails right from the property. And the amazing nearby waterfalls. Including Abiqua Falls just up the road, and 'The Trail of Ten Falls' at Silver Falls St. Park.

The Farm is also conveniently located close to several towns including Mount Angle and the cool little town of Silverton, Oregon.

Silverton has several excellent restaurants, great brew pubs, a seasonal farmer's market, and shopping. It is also home of The Oregon Gardens, a world class botanical garden.

Crooked Finger Farms has great history. The Farm and surrounding acreage was homesteaded in the late 1850’s-1860’s. You can still pick the fruit from the original heirloom apple and pear trees! The farmhouse, historic barn and outbuildings were built as a dairy in 1915.

Note of interest: There is a small graveyard located at the top of the property dating from the 1870's 

Please Note: Any artifacts found on the property must stay on the farm.

Vineyard Camp

We are a family-run vineyard and winery. Our property is diverse, hosting vineyard, gardens, forest and a small lake. The Luna Lake campsite is private, peaceful and a great spot to see wildlife or stargaze.

Silver Falls State Park, U-pick berry farms, The Oregon Garden and a number of magical swimming holes are nearby.

Our small farm in located just minutes from town in the rural town Independence Oregon.  You will located close to shopping, wineries, hospital and all your basic needs while enjoying the eclipse on private peaceful land.  Learn more about this land:We are a 10 acre farm in the heart of the path of the 2017 eclipse.  We have a very large field to offer wonderful views of the eclipse.  Some shade available.  Wonderful coast range views as well.  Fully fenced and secure.  Close to town yet private feel.
