Johnny Park was named after John Brewer, a relative that designed and built a park after we bought this land. Spring and summer are the prettiest times to visit. My location is about 8 miles due west of the little town of Caney, Oklahoma. I’m very rural, no close neighbors, 19 acres of pasture and woods. Plenty of places to park, one area is back in the woods a bit with water and 50 amp service, others strictly boondocking. There’s not much “close” to me but I’m kind of centrally located between Atoka, Texoma and McGee lakes. Boggy depot state park and Fort Washita is close by and south of me is the Choctaw Casino. It’s very quiet and no nighttime lights so there’s an awesome night sky. Please check out the map I've included in my photos for precise directions. The last 2.5 miles to get to my house is by gravel road and my entrance may be a bit difficult to spot but my name and address is on the big black mailbox. Just turn in and cross the cattle guard and go through the driveway into the open field. Parking is on the north side of the drive along the tree line or back in the woods. Don’t hesitate to contact me directly for directions. If you follow my guidance, you should have no problem finding me or turning into my drive. Pets are welcome but I suggest they remain on a leash if you’re around my house or other campers and please clean up after them. The open field around my house is not always mowed because my neighbor cuts the hay and I like the spring wildflowers. I try to keep a walking path around my place but I travel too so at times it may not be well maintained. Since I do travel a lot, I may not be home when you arrive. Please make yourself at home and leave the place as you found it. Thank you!

Stayed at Dave’s Hideout for five days and loved it. Beautiful spot. Tons of stars at night, peaceful, and you can hear and see plenty of wildlife. The grass smelled amazing after the rain. You’re far enough out to feel secluded but can still see other campers in the distance. Dave is also an amazing and kind host. 10/10

Good communication from the host! Peaceful, relaxing location. No wifi in the rental RV, but pretty good cell coverage. I had some work to catch up on, but could use my phone as a hotspot and was still able to spend some time contemplating the jetski in the middle of the catch-and-release pond!

Amazing as always! We both had a great time! We missed Donkey the first day but he came by the following night and it was so lovely to see him and the horses. The sky was amazing as always. Couldn't have asked for a better spot or a better trip! They did a lot of trimming since the last time we went and I never knew how big the property actually was!

Weekend Trip to Texoma Woods

Do you dream of being able to fish from your front door? The bell tent is truly the most perfect place to stay. Staying on the dock, the water rocks you to sleep. It is about 15 minutes to the Walmart from location! All in all, the most beautiful property, the kindest hosts, and the most convenient location to camp without fear of forgetting a necessity or two. We will absolutely be back!

Weekend Trip to Texoma Woods

My lovely girlfriend and I decided we needed some time away after a busy month at work so we booked the yurt on Carlos’s land. Let me start off by saying it surpassed our expectations and we had a great experience. They provided a wood stove for the inside of the yurt that kept us very warm through the day and night. He and his wife were a delight and checked in on us to see how everything was which was very kind! If you are having any doubts on booking the yurt we’ll let me put your mind at ease! It is 100% worth it

3 nights at Tin Can Acres

Tin Can Acres was absolutely perfect. We spent three nights and enjoyed every single second! We took advantage of the fire pit and had a fire one evening, we cooked our meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed. I even took a relaxing hot bath one night as it stormed outside - it was heaven! We borrowed a few records and listened to them throughout our stay. This place is pure magic! We will be back.
