As always, the campgrounds were absolutely perfect! This was our third trip to Sacred Pines—and our longest tent camping stay yet at five days—and we truly never ran out of things to do.
It was a bit hotter than expected, but the large shaded pavilion was such a blessing in the late afternoons and gave us the perfect place to relax and cool off. Our entire group had an amazing time enjoying all the amenities, from kayaking and the zip line to exploring the brook nearby. We also loved having games like ladder ball and cornhole ready for us—everything was thoughtfully provided by the owners and made our stay even more fun and effortless.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Checking in and out was so easy. We just needed to bring food !
The mountain was quiet and stars were bright!
It was fun stargazing and mapping out the sky!
The hot tub was excellent and kept hot the whole time , the bed was comfy, we definitely felt like kings! Thank you for such a great getaway!

StoneWind was a stunning getaway! The landscape is incredible, the wildlife is abundant (6 deer ran past our yurt one morning), and the amenities are abundant. Not to mention, best of all, the yurt was so luxurious! The perfect place to relax and get away, in direct proximity to Devil's Den State Park for day hiking.

This was such a lovely campsite! The hosts are incredible and provided great hospitality during our stay. Definitely recommend a car with 4WD or AWD and a bit of ground clearance to get to the campsite, but otherwise no concerns!

This campground was nothing short of amazing! The owners were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful despite us staying during Scary Pines Fall Festival. The said festival gave our group plenty of things to do, but even without that the kayaking and hiking that my group did was amazing. All around this place is amazing and I couldn’t recommend it enough!!

We loved our stay at Sacred Pines! We stayed in one of the tiny home cabins. Beautifully constructed, had everything we needed and more. The grounds surrounding us were a beautiful spot to walk our puppies around. Super peaceful and close to so many awesome hiking trails. Not great cell service out there (it’s the country, duh. We loved it, really made us more present and hangout with each other rather than be on screens) Perk: our tiny cabin had an awesome pizza oven that we used to make some home made pizza after a long hike! Thank you Miranda for creating such an awesome space, we will be back

Weekend Trip to Sacred Pines
We stayed at Sacred Pines for our anniversary and such a relaxing time. We loved playing frisbee golf and cornhole, and even had a couple surprise visits from their sweet dogs! The loft bed can be a little tricky to get up to, but I have to say, it was one of the most comfortable beds! The whole place had a peaceful vibe, and we definitely recommend it. We hope to stay here again someday for sure.

We stopped in for a night driving through to Texas. Held uo by traffic we arrived very late at 12:30 P.M. Tamie left the light on for us and had it all ready for us to roll up and pass out. Her equestrian facility is fantastic.

Beautiful site and clean. The whole setup was very thoughtful and made our stay memorable. The host left thoughtful things during our stay, such as bug spray and wet wipes, that made the experience very comfortable. She was very communicative and friendly. We loved camping here! Very beautiful and peaceful place to stay! You can walk around the entire pond sipping your cup of coffee and enjoy the scenery. Me and my family of 4 stayed in our conversion camper van. We Stayed on the water front site that was easy to access and very apparent of location. There is convenience of trash can, picnic table, fire-pit, which they do provide wood for free! They just ask that you share the supply so be mindful of that. The bathhouse is a short walk away, accessible to all the sites and near the cabins. I will say, it is not AC and heated so it does get fairly humid and hot in the bathroom house so word of advice. Shower either early morning before sunrise or at night when it’s cooler. There is a big field at the front of the property that is nice for picnicking and I think my kids favorite thing of all, the entire time we were there was the ZipLine! We couldn’t get them off of it! lol
Overall the property is just serene and stunning! Our stay was great and would definitely stay again! One for the books for sure!
Complaints:
These are really minuscule and wouldn’t detour me from booking again but only things that stood out to really take into account
1. There are loose dogs from the main house that roam about so if you are bringing pets make sure to watch out.
2. It’s LOUD at night! Beware if you are tent, camping. Mostly all the frogs and insects around the pond. We had our van to sleep in or if you’re in a cabin you should be good.
