We enjoyed our stay here for a second year in a row! The host Mark is a great communicator and responsive. This property is so clean and so well kept! Our boys enjoyed riding their bikes around the campsite and we enjoyed sitting by the bonfire. We had the entire campground to ourselves for two nights and it was calm and quiet! Thank you Mark and we are looking forward to coming back again!!

Memory Park was wonderful. We booked River bend but all sites looked nice and well kept. We got lucky and had the whole campground to ourselves. Had fun on the swings. Great firewood. Simple campground with no cell service. Great to detach.

Wonderful and peaceful site. We stayed at one of the dispersed sites and were the only campers there. Slept like a baby. There’s a small creek that runs along the property. Beautifully maintained. Far walk to the bathroom but we brought our own pop up potty. It’s right by the railroad tracks but we only heard it come through once a night. Very close to Atwood lake and leesville lake where you can fish, rent boats, etc. we will definitely be back. Thanks Mark!

Weekend Trip to Memory Park Campground
What a great camp! Well tended, carefully thought out, scenic and Mark, your host, is next level great! From carefully placed Adirondack chairs along the waters edge to swings and horse shoes, there is something for everyone. Throughly enjoyed our stay, and look forward to returning.

Back-to-basics camping off the beaten path :-) ... The host, Mark, was very cheerful and helpful to guide us by cell phone to our campsite ... Quiet, serene setting with large campsites ... Limited amenities to a very clean Porta-Potty and hand-pumped water ... As close to dispersed (primitive, boondocking) camping as one can get ... Small, quiet portable generator was permitted ...

My friends and I stayed at Dawn Road Retreat and Creekside Path, and loved both sites. The sites were both very large, with lots of space for tents on the Dawn Road site and ample RV space at Creekside. I would recommend other sites on the property if you're not a fan of backing up your camper/RV, but all of the sites were gorgeous and well laid out. The port-a-potty was centrally located and clean, and non-potable water was available as well. The views were beautiful and Mark was very sweet and helpful. The train came through once and that was extremely loud, but in 3 days onsite there was only one and only the railroad controls the railroad! Overall it was a very quiet, chill campground, we would absolutely visit again.

This was our second time enjoying Mark and Tammy's campground, and it did not disappoint! We stayed at the Honeymoon spot, again. We love the sun and had lots of it! Very private and relaxing. Our last day, we decided to put our double inner tube in the creek and float which was very refreshing!! Mark and Tammy are great hosts. We are very happy and thankful we found such great people with such beautiful land to share 😍

It was such a great place to stay! The property was super clean. The little river it was on just set the tone for a nice relaxing weekend. Mark was easy to get in touch with. We ended up being 1 of 2 campsites being used over the weekend but I can see how it would give more campers a feel of privacy. The port-o-pity was probably the cleanest one I have ever seen. The terrain wasn’t difficult to get to camping areas. I would recommend this to anyone going on a solo trip or with friends!
