Weekend Trip to Country Outpost RV Site

My wife and I stayed at the outpost this weekend. It was an easy drive up state routes and county roads. We arrived at the location and immediately knew how to park. We used the two lane, untraveled road in front of the outpost to easily back our 25 foot RV into place. There was room to spare with the RV and my 19 ft F150 still hooked up. You could get a 45footer on the gravel lot. It was very quiet. We enjoyed our stayed and even did a little fishing. We caught 2 MASSIVE bluegills and a few small bass right from our chairs. There is a 30 amp service, but no water or sewer ( we dumped at Camper's Inn in TippCity/Troy, Ohio). We would definitely visit again. We met the owner - He was very cordial and you can tell he loves his property! A++

Weekend Trip to Artemis Gardens BnB

My adult daughter and I do a get away each year to celebrate our birthdays. We both are exhausted professionals and need to truly wind down. Lisa’s place was exactly what we needed. The house is so deeply chill and comfy! So many cool things to look at and touch. The added plus of the hanging hoop really blew my daughter’s mind and I loved watching her play like a girl again. We will 100% be coming back!!!

Weekend Trip to Artemis Gardens BnB

It was a peaceful stay. A nice retreat while in town for worlds WGI (drumline competition). Lisa made breakfast & coffee each morning. Other guests brought their doggo Fox. It was nice having a furry friend around. I hope to come back next year & bring my husband & dog too!

Weekend Trip to Artemis Gardens BnB

Lisa (human), Nemo, Luna, and Artemis (cats) were amazing hosts during my stay. I came for an outdoorsy getaway and the hiking in the area was plentiful and close. Definitely check out the Charleston Falls - they're amazing year round! Lisa's house is a work of art, each nook and cranny painted and decorated with her own work and charming decor. The room was cozy, the bed comfy, the cats friendly (shout out to my girl Nemo, who will crawl into your skin if you let her. Lots of kisses and cuddles from that ginger sweetheart). The highlight is the sitting room with gorgeous plants and lots of sunlight, looking out onto greenery and critters. Lisa was a gracious host who answered all messages/requests quickly. She made me breakfast and gave me recs for local spots. Spot was easy to find, parking was easy, and although there are a few far-flung neighbors it was 100% quiet.

Weekend Trip to Indian Lake Adventures

We had a great time glamping in our adorable Indian Lake tiny house! The grounds are well maintained and lovely, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. On the edge of the property is a brew pub with games, cozy seating indoors and out, fire pits, and sometimes even live music and food trucks, which was a pleasant surprise. House was well equipped with many essentials, too. Would definitely stay again!!

2 nights at Country Outpost RV Site

Allen’s beautiful land was nestled between fields on all sides. He was very welcoming and let me know what to expect during my stay, i.e. paths, fire ring, parking, etc. It was very tranquil and quiet with little traffic on this country road in Ohio’s quintessential farmland.

The cabin is rustic, some of the native plants can be prickly, and pollinators are everywhere - including the honeybees with stingers (who live in three different natural hives on the property). In other words, stay aware of your surroundings. • Stroll among the flowers, fresh air, and sounds of nature. • Enjoy homemade breakfast noms in the sunroom. • Check out a book from the home library. • Get the band back together in the music lounge. • Dip into the art supplies if inspiration strikes. • Close the curtains and nap anytime in your own private bedroom made for a goddess. • Gather your friends, book all three of the rooms, and reconnect for a weekend. • Meet new friends by mingling with fellow guests in the safe, inclusive shared spaces. • It’s only five miles back to the BnB if you’re going to a show at Rose Music Center. • Take a five minute drive to see Charleston Falls and hike. • Need a picnic packed or candlelight dessert setup? Ohio caverns are within 45 minutes of this location. A local tavern within a mile and the best ice cream in the area within five miles, " the creamery" of Delphos. Could just stay enjoy a game of cornhole or 9-hole golf on site.
