This small farm is 7 acres of the original 25 my great grandmother purchased for her family in 1934. Guests can enjoy the cabin as well as the barn, which has been converted to a rec area. Make our home and green space yours for a few days. Camp in comfort in our "little cabin in the woods." Accommodates up to six guests, with a queen-sized bed, a futon and two low single beds in the loft, accessible only by ladder. Kids 6 and older may sleep in the loft-- just like Laura and Mary-- and they can read a chapter of one of Laura Ingalls' "Little House" books before bed! The Camp Cabin contains a small refrigerator, microwave and gas fireplace (no, the pioneers didn’t have that!). Fresh eggs and other snacks are provided for breakfast. The restroom and shower are located in the walkout basement of the farmhouse, a 40 yard walk from the Cabin. The restroom has a private entrance and is used only by guests during their stay. With ample shade, a fire pit, and nearby portapotty, you can relax under the stars into the night. Hiking trails weave through the back of the property and you are welcome to explore those as well. Because we are a working homestead and farm, a few things are true: -Sometimes there’s mud. We suggest boots for walking around the property and in the woods. -Our farm animals are great - and may also bite. Please do not pet or chase them. We are happy to arrange opportunities to interact with the animals. Just ask! -Not always, but at times, our neighbors will start farming early in the morning and you can hear their machinery. All of our sites have privacy but are not truly remote. We want you to enjoy yourselves but please be mindful that our house is on the property as well as our neighbors. We had a great time at Shady Maple cabin! It was a beautiful place to unwind, de-stress, and be in an amazing setting! The cabin had everything you would need for a relaxing time. We love a good log cabin and this did not disappoint! It was clean, had snacks, jacuzzi tub inside, a hot tub outside, board games, was private enough and everything worked as it should. 4 nights at The Camp Cabin at the Hallstead

My husband and I were looking for a quiet couples getaway. We found the property and site to be beautiful. The cabin was cozy. The hosts were awesome! They thought of everything!! What stood out as unique is the access to the barn where we found an endless amount of activities. We fed the goats, hiked a beautiful trail and watched a spectacular sunset. We even made time to practice our canoeing skills on the small pond that was adjacent to our cabin. The bathroom in the back basement of the host house was clean and well stocked only about 75 feet away from our cabin. They kept this area well lit just in case you had to go in the middle of the night. What a fun experience for families with small children!!

NOW THIS IS GLAMPING! The Bombay Belle is a truly unique experience. Relax in nature at this off-grid glamorous camping site.

We recently had our first-ever glamping experience at Canvas Cottages, and I can confidently say it set an impossibly high bar. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn't just a place to stay—it was a truly special, detail-oriented experience. We stayed in the magnificent Bombay Belle, which was far more than just a tent; it was a huge, luxurious, and perfectly equipped sanctuary. The hosts have literally thought of every single thing you could possibly need, all while maintaining a commitment to sustainability. The entire space was spotlessly clean and felt incredibly comfortable. What truly made our stay so relaxing and memorable were the incredible amenities and activities. We spent our days by the fire pit, tried our hand at fishing, and had a blast with the classic nostalgic games. The unique activities like tomahawk throwing and archery added a fun, adventurous twist to the getaway. We also loved the secret library, which was such a cool touch! Beyond the beautiful accommodations and activities, the hosts were absolutely lovely people who made us feel so welcome. Their wonderful dog, Spirit, was an absolute joy and a perfect companion to the serene surroundings. This was more than just a trip—it was a chance to disconnect and fully immerse ourselves in a beautiful, peaceful environment. Donna’s land is absolutely magical. If you are quiet enough and paying attention, there is so much nature thriving around you. This trip came at a time when I did not know I would need it most and it was perfect and healing. The cabin is so clean and charming. This was my partner’s daughter’s first camping trip so I wanted it to be close to home and still have some comforts. It was perfect! The only downside to our experience was the day we checked in, it had been 92 degrees all day, so the cabin was pretty miserable to sleep in the first night. Also, since this is in the backyard of the homeowner, it might not be your cup of tea if you want a more off the grid feel but again, for us it was perfect! Donna was so sweet, gave us our privacy, and graciously shared her land and all of its offerings to us. I will definitely be wanting to come back on maybe a girls trip in the fall or even winter when other camping is more challenging!

1 night at Heartland Homestead

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and we loved being able to wander the property, visit with the cows and goats, and watch the fireflies light up the night. The evening was spent by the fire pit, roasting s’mores, so peaceful and relaxing. When my son lost his blanket, the hosts went out of their way to help us look for it, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a charming, restful getaway, and we left with great memories.

2 nights at The Turkey Hollow Campground

We absolutely loved camping out at Turkey Hollow! This campground was so quiet and peaceful. The land was beautiful and there was tons of things to do to keep us busy. Our time here went way to fast but we will definitely be booking again & again! We had no complaints what so ever and can't wait to come back. The nature is beautiful and the sky at night is stunning to say the least. If your looking for a quiet, peaceful, & beautiful place to get away, I highly recommend this campground. Its a beautiful escape from reality. This campground is easy to book, affordable, and was really clean and chill. A+ from us !! Hot water ✔️ Toilet ✔️ Wash station ✔️ All you have to do now is book your stay and start making memories 😀 lol We look forward to coming back!!

Weekend Trip to Earth Song Farm

Stayed for an evening in one off the tipi’s with my 6yr old. We had a blast exploring the property. My son loved hanging out with with the chickens, goats and riding the train track that they built. We will 100% be coming back.
