We loved camping at Hilltop over Halloween weekend. We went hiking in Hocking Hills on Saturday and had trick or treaters and decorated and won the best decorated contest! Karen was very thoughtful and had breakfast on Saturday morning. The only thing that I would change is the site itself. Some weren’t level but we adjusted our camper to be level. Bath house was great and clean with showers. We loved the dog park all fenced in at the top.

We really had a great time there. It was a perfect base camp for our adventures at the state park in the area. We were only there a couple of days, but we were quite impressed.

It was a great experience! There was a scheduling blip, but the host moved things around and we ended up staying in cabin 113. The space was perfect for us: 2 adults, a baby, and a dog. Everything was clean, comfortable, and convenient. I would happily stay here again.

We absolutely loved our time at Hilltop! The Vulture Cabin was exactly what we needed for our small group for the weekend, and the campground was very nice with lots of amenities! We’d love to come back in the future!

Great views and a amazing lake trail. Everyone was very helpful and kind. This place is located 15 min from so many beautiful places to hike. It was a perfect Basecamp and refuge from the storms.

Beautiful views. Glamping tents are neat but very hot in the summer. Our tent was in full sun all day and evening. The one fan didn’t help at all. It cooled off a bit once the sun went down. Plenty of games for the kiddos. Showers were nice and clean but quite a walk from the canvas tents. The showers need a shelf for soap and such. Hosts were great.

This was a great campground!! The cleanest bathrooms and most wonderful showers that I've seen at a campground. The wagon was cute and cozy and fun!

Best campground of our six week Rv trip. Beautiful hill with so many activities, panoramic views, lake access plus kayaks, private trails. Also you can have tents at an Rv site which was very nice for our group of five. But honestly the best thing was the owners our Rv broke down in the storm and they came out to personally help us then referred us to a traveling tech when our issue ended up being more severe. So incredibly polite and helpful.

Beautiful campsite with a really nice view of the hills. We were a little nervous that it was going to be crowded pulling in when we saw just how many sites there were, but we felt very private anyways. Site amenities like the fire pit and picnic table were very nice and it was super easy to rent kayaks and go out on the lake.
Overall very nice and typical good campground experience but what really impressed me was the managers’ behavior on checkout day. Our RV wouldn’t start so we were unable to vacate our site on time. We told them what was going on and offered to pay for another day but they wouldn’t take a dime and even helped us get a technician to the site to get us out of the bind. They were genuinely some of the nicest folks I’ve met in a long long time and they really helped us out of our jam. Lovely lovely site. Can’t wait to be back!

I stopped in at Hilltop for one night with my pup along a road trip and we had a great time. The tent was super cute and cozy. Loved the little porch. Very clean bathroom facilities too. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely come back!
