Our weekend at this site went perfect! Plenty of land to explore and hike as well as fishing! Truly thoroughly enjoyed camping at this site, perfect place to get away for the weekend. Be aware of how cozy the sites are. If you want more privacy, I would encourage you to shop around.

This campsite is easy to find. We parked close to pond with electric hookup. She had a canoe for us but we never used it. Fishing was good. Nice quiet place. Lots of paved trails to walk on. Would definitely recommend going here.

We absolutely loved this spot! You could see houses from the camp spot, but there are no other campers so it is quite private. The porta potty was extremely clean and convenient. Great trails for walking. There’s also a family dollar right down the road incase you need to grab something!

Weekend Trip to Canvas Cottages Glampsites
We recently had our first-ever glamping experience at Canvas Cottages, and I can confidently say it set an impossibly high bar. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn't just a place to stay—it was a truly special, detail-oriented experience.
We stayed in the magnificent Bombay Belle, which was far more than just a tent; it was a huge, luxurious, and perfectly equipped sanctuary. The hosts have literally thought of every single thing you could possibly need, all while maintaining a commitment to sustainability. The entire space was spotlessly clean and felt incredibly comfortable. What truly made our stay so relaxing and memorable were the incredible amenities and activities. We spent our days by the fire pit, tried our hand at fishing, and had a blast with the classic nostalgic games. The unique activities like tomahawk throwing and archery added a fun, adventurous twist to the getaway. We also loved the secret library, which was such a cool touch! Beyond the beautiful accommodations and activities, the hosts were absolutely lovely people who made us feel so welcome. Their wonderful dog, Spirit, was an absolute joy and a perfect companion to the serene surroundings. This was more than just a trip—it was a chance to disconnect and fully immerse ourselves in a beautiful, peaceful environment. We left feeling completely refreshed and are already planning our return. If you're looking for an unforgettable glamping experience, look no further than Canvas Cottages.

It was the beginning of the week had the whole place to myself. It has bathroom and shower facilities. Decided to camp instead of a hotel. My brother is having surgery tomorrow at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. It is an hour drive up to there. The artisan swimming pond is great. Jumped in both nights and then took a hot shower. Made a nice fire and will go to sleep to get up and be moral support. Quiet with woods sounds and the babbling brook running adjacent to my site.

This property is beautiful! There is so much land to explore and see the old golf course being reclaimed by nature. This is a great place to stay with a group and dogs. Lori is very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Canvas Cottages Glampsites
It was absolutely beautiful! Knowing it was our honeymoon they went out of their way to get us a bottle of wine, forest cover meant even the rain through out the weekend never spoiled our fun, and the honey is to die for! I promise they have thought of everything you haven’t! With so many activities and amazing relaxing spots you’d never have to leave! The most sweet pup wonders the property, who often came to get some love and check in on us! Super close to some amazing spots - you’ll have to ask the owners for their favorites spots!

Diana and Don’s land is truly a magical place! We left the weekend feeling rested, recharged, and grateful to have spent time on such a beautiful property with such lovely hosts. From the gorgeous Bombay Belle tent to the hammocks on the dock—and one of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen in their stunning woods—this place is incredibly special and will leave you with lasting memories. I also want to add how incredibly accommodating they were to our dog 💗 She was treated so well, complete with her own adorable pup tent, and had a blast exploring the property alongside Diana and Don’s amazing dog, Spirit!

We had a great time camping here! Micah was there to help us find a spot! He helped us move a picnic table to our location and even let us borrow his lawn chairs since we forgot ours! He was super friendly and accommodating! Firewood was ready to go in our fire ring and the bathrooms and showers were nice and clean! Would definitely recommend!

Despire typically not being open during the winter, the hosts went out of their way to accommodate us for a winter camping trip. The camp was nice and clean, although a bit muddy. What are you going to do though? Its winter, its always muddy no matter where you go. I bet it would be a blast to come back during the summer - swim in the lake, enjoy the facilities to their fullest.
The hosts are good fun as well. We enjoyed some brief, yet fun conversation. They were very responsive and flexible as well. If we needed something, we got a response ASAP.
If you're looking for a winter Hip Camp all to yourself, message the hosts and see if it's the right fit for you! We had a blast.
