The cabin is located at the end of a private gravel road with a fish pond and thousands of acres of peaceful wooded mountains at it's doorstep! And yes, there are hiking trails! We built this cabin with you in mind. Everything was custom made by us; from the woodstove rock wall, to the cabinets and outdoor picnic table. You will instantly relax when you walk into this very special place. You will never want to leave! The cabin includes a large front porch with rocking chairs where you will enjoy your warm tea or coffee each morning and evening while overlooking the peaceful pond and woods. There is an outdoor fire ring and picnic table where you can enjoy a campfire, cook on the open flame, and have smore's in the evening. Inside the cabin you will find everything to be incredibly beautiful and spaced to create the coziest atmosphere you've ever enjoyed. There is a wood burning stove indoors that when lit, takes the whole experience to the next level! But you don't have to rely on the woodstove for heat, we've installed a brand new wall unit for heat and air! You also have a DVD player and a television with an assortment of DVDs to choose from. The cabin sleeps 4-5 people comfortably. There is a full size bed that sleeps 2 in the main room of the cabin. There is a loft above that sleeps 2-3 more. A rolling library ladder is how the kids will access the loft area! So fun! The kitchen is complete with a refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. A peaceful mood is set by warm-toned sawmill lumber walls, recessed lighting in the ceiling, a kitchen window above the sink that overlooks the side yard campfire area and beautiful woods surrounding the cozy cabin. The bathroom is so nice with a stand-up shower, hand-made oak vanity, and a door to the "star-gazing" porch. Flood lighting lights up the area around the cabin at night so you might spot a deer, fox, or even a bear traveling through or getting a drink of water from the pond. You will instantly relax at the coziest cabin on earth. You deserve a get-away that actually recharges you! This cabin is for the couple or family that just wants to take a much needed break from the real world. Excellent, unique accommodations. The communal outdoor space was very charming and the cabin itself was functional and stylish, with work being done to a high standard. Less than 10 mins from town, yet rural and cozy. Communication was prompt and efficient, with an easy check-in/check-out. I really couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks!

Such lovely hosts and the views from their property will set your soul at rest. Everything from the tall trees that embrace the cabin to the beautiful songs of nature. Unfortunately the forecast had my husband and I in house slippers and napping during the entirety of our visit but it was exactly what we needed. The first morning we lost power but Greg was so kind to stop by and offer to pick us up some breakfast as he made his errands and Marsha kept us updated on things until the power was back on. The cabin was so clean with a relief to us as we don’t wear shoes inside and all of the linens, towels, throws etc were all perfectly clean as well. All the amenities were well provided and well thought out. This is the coziest place I’ve stayed through HipCamp and we can’t wait to come back to explore more of the area before snowfall.

2 nights at The Coziest Cabin on Earth!

This adorable little cabin was everything my fiancée and I wanted for a peaceful weekend getaway. The location feels very secluded and the cabin is surrounded by beautiful woods. So quiet and peaceful, we heard zero traffic noise. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to be off leash, and there are several little trails that were a blast to explore. The cabin was very comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed. Host was very helpful and responsive, we definitely would love to come back sometime in the future!

The cabin was so clean and cozy, well stocked with everything I needed. There are so many great little touches that make it extra homey. I loved watching the stars and enjoying the nighttime quiet, and exploring the woods by day. It was a really delightful escape and I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away but still wants some of the comforts of home.

3 nights at Cozy Cabin w/Hot-Tub

The cabin was a perfect getaway weekend for my husband and I (and our dog). It was 20 degrees outside the nights we stayed, but the cabin was warm and cozy with everything we needed. We loved hiking up to the tower and having a campfire at night. The hot tub was the best part! Stone Mountain Park is a short drive away and is one of the best parks in N.C. highly recommend!!
