The Saxapahaw Country Club is a beautiful 31-acre working farm and event space. Guests are welcome to wander the fields, relax in the hammocks, fish the stocked pond, or enjoy the giant swing suspended from the branches of our 200-year-old white oak tree.
The Country Club is an ideal spot for a quiet evening under the stars, a peaceful retreat after shows at the Haw River Ballroom, or a basecamp for exploring the river, shops, and restaurants of Saxapahaw. Chapel Hill, Mebane, Hillsborough, and Pittsboro are all just a short drive away.
In addition to camping, we host weddings, reunions, retreats, corporate functions, and other private events, as well as public gatherings throughout the year. As a membership club, we offer members special perks along with opportunities to connect, socialize, and enjoy the "country-club" lifestyle. On arrival you'll come down our curvy driveway through the trees, and see our event barn on the left. In front of the barn is a communal space for campers to enjoy with a great view. This area has a fire pit, chairs, wood-fired grill, handwashing station, and farm table. The shared outhouse/composting toilet is next to the pine stand with a white roof.
We have sheep, pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. Take a walk to say hello, don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats.
Pork and lamb from our farm (as well as kiln-dried firewood) is available for purchase at our farm store.

We are a 15-minute drive from the Walthour Moss Foundation and 35 minutes from Raven Rock State Park. Pinehurst and Southern Pines are just 25 minutes away, and the Carolina Horse Park is a 40-minute drive.
We are a small, friendly horse boarding facility that also offers short-term RV/LQ hookups and temporary pasture board for horses visiting from out of town.

The property is wonderful - beautiful land, lovely campsite setups, great hosts. We came back for a second time and it just kept getting better. The location is wonderful. We loved the friendly cats, the wonderful barn, and the very fun swing. They also have very nice picnic tables and chairs. The little things really added to the experience. Highly recommend.

The Far Meadow was an amazing spot for my group to get away for the weekend. The included picnic table was a great surprise and the pigs at the edge of the site were so fun to watch!

Site is very large, nice view out to pond and sunsets. Add on charge for bathroom is well worth it if you aren’t self contained. Hosts are wonderful and friendly. The place was very peaceful for my weekend stay. Will definitely be coming back again.

Incredible spot, and some of the kindest and most helpful, warm, and friendly hosts we’ve ever had! Been using air b n b and hip camp for a long while and truly had such a lovely time here. Great space, fantastic and rural but also close enough to some really cool adventuring and very convenient having access to the shower and bathroom so we didn’t have to rough it too hard. Delicious pork add ons, adorable farm animals, and super pet friendly space. We were so grateful for the getaway and will definitely be back.

We so enjoyed our stay on Wes’s property! Between us we had four kids ages 5 and under and they had so much to entertain themselves. We loved hanging out under the huge oak tree, using the tree swing, visiting the animals (especially the baby pigs!), and going for walks. Wes was easy to get ahold of and we had everything we needed!
