This campground offers a distinctive experience for outdoor enthusiasts, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of the lake. With 65 RV campsites available, guests can choose from various service options: $30 per night for 30-amp service, $35 per night for 50-amp service, and dual 30/50 amp sites also priced at $35 per night. 

For those seeking a waterfront experience, sites 1-6 and 64-65 are available for $45 per night, although these sites do not qualify for monthly discounts. Campers will appreciate the convenience of a RV waste dump station and a shared bathhouse on-site. 

Cabin renters should note that they must bring their own linens. This campground not only provides essential amenities but also serves as a gateway to nearby natural attractions, swimming holes, and a variety of outdoor activities, making it an ideal destination for families and adventure seekers alike.

Container Experience

I purchased a 1960's ranch home and 4 acres over 5 years ago.  I turned the home into The Fab 4 House, furnishing it with authentic Mid-century Modern furniture and naming each bedroom for 1 of the Beatles.  I rent it out and it is great for events.  However, I needed 1 bedroom accommodations so I purchased 3- 8'x40' shipping containers and turned them into tiny homes.  You can rent 1 or all 3.  The courtyard in the middle features a Tiki Bar, Beach Scene, Putting Green.  I want people to enjoy the in and outside together.

Rare, Watershed Forest - Piedmont

We are a secluded, land-based retreat and campground, along a tributary of the Tar River which backs up to a wild forest, offering individuals and small groups a place for rest, exploration, sanctuary, and grounding. Equal parts woodland, floodplain wetland and pastureland, R.O.S.A land is stewarding 23 acres of ecological magical oasis in an Aquatic Habitat deemed an important NC Natural Heritage area of the Piedmont of North Carolina.  Rare mussel species and amphibians live here.  Come see for yourself! 

This is a queer-stewarded, solidarity-focused rematriation project. This land is co-deeded to MK of Handewa Farms and owned at present by K Cox, Steward of the Respite   An intentional community of farm hub tenants, visitors, campers, stewards co-habitate on R.O.S.A (Rare Occaneechi Saponi Alluvial) land together.

We offer nature-based immersion for artists, healers, cultural and frontline organizers and their families taking time for restful resistance.

It is a triptyech of woods, water and pastureland butting up against an untouched wild old hardwood forest - a combination unlikely found in the PIedmont- nestled among small tobacco, horse and hay farms in the Southeast corner of Granville County between Oxford and Roxboro in the beautiful PIedmont of North Carolina.

Brookhaven Mill Farm

Mushroom Season is here and our farm is hosting an event Sunday, June 1 to go to our back 10 acres and forage for mushrooms. We have a certified mycologist on hand to identify your finds! Why not stay on the Farm that weekend and be a part of this event!

Our farm is an agritourism farm that offers seasonal events, educational workshops, a petting zoo and animal therapy!. It is free to walk around the farm and visit our animals, but there is a small cost to go inside the barnyard for a petting zoo experience with our sheep and donkeys.   

We don't have hookups, so bring a generator if you need it.  If you need to fill up your RV water tank, we charge $10. 

A Grill Pavilion is available to rent for $20 extra. See photos. Propane, grill, table and party lights included.

We allow check-ins during the week after 12 noon,  perfect for folks passing through and just need a safe and quiet place to park for the night and not interested in visiting the farm store, the barnyard or the rest of the farm, which are closed during week. 

If you are looking for more activity, consider booking with us on weekends when we open the Farm 10am-4pm for the public to visit our petting zoo, Farm Store and Snack Shack. We even offer feed so you can feed our sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks and geese!   

While we are dog-friendly, we do not allow dogs beyond the camping area. Instead, we offer a 1.5 acre piece of property where you can allow your dogs off-leash. This area is located adjacent to the camping sites and is accessible via 2 gates. 

Our camping area is a large grassy field that will accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers,  and RVs under 30' with room to turn around, stake your area, and not feel crowded. 

 There is also 1 regularly maintained porta potty located in this area.

ATVs welcome please be Respectful and bonfire's acceptable very private there's only one entrance and exit old farm land that was a tobacco farm in the 1940s the creek has some gold in it and it would be alright for  hobby gold prospecting it's a nice get away from society  I don't mind what anyone does just be courtesy and kind I'm available incase of an emergency or help with most anything also there are 3 store's within walking distance once you get up to the main Road

Learn more about this land:It is lightly wooded with a beautiful view of field crops. Always wildlife to be seen. Turkey, deer, hawks...very peaceful. Short drive to the new Madison River Park!
