Perfect for couples, small families, and furry friends, our dog-friendly cabin offers a peaceful escape with stunning long views of a serene meadow and creek. Inside the Cabin: Our cozy cabin is thoughtfully designed to provide all the comforts of home. It features warm décor, with new furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen for your cooking needs. Main floor sleeping arrangements are a bedroom with new memory foam queen bed, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Up the loft steps, a twin bed is located in the "Eagles landing", with a new memory foam double bed in the bedroom. Please be aware that the stairs are quite steep and were not designed with railing. We recommend exercising caution when using them, especially for guests with mobility concerns, young children, or those who may be less sure-footed. Your safety and comfort are important to us, so please take care when choosing your sleeping arrangements. There is one bathroom with a shower downstairs, located off the kitchen. A small washer dryer is also available. Please note, these can accommodate only small loads of laundry. You'll find bath towels and smaller towels specifically for drying off after a relaxing soak in the hot tub. We've stocked quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as some basic toiletries in case a guest forgets to bring an item. What a wonderful peaceful stay. Something about a hot tub in the woods melts away all worries and I'm so glad that Greg made time to take me up to the tower! Marsha and Greg are such wonderful hosts and I can't wait to come back.

Such lovely hosts and the views from their property will set your soul at rest. Everything from the tall trees that embrace the cabin to the beautiful songs of nature. Unfortunately the forecast had my husband and I in house slippers and napping during the entirety of our visit but it was exactly what we needed. The first morning we lost power but Greg was so kind to stop by and offer to pick us up some breakfast as he made his errands and Marsha kept us updated on things until the power was back on. The cabin was so clean with a relief to us as we don’t wear shoes inside and all of the linens, towels, throws etc were all perfectly clean as well. All the amenities were well provided and well thought out. This is the coziest place I’ve stayed through HipCamp and we can’t wait to come back to explore more of the area before snowfall.

Weekend Trip to Halfassery Farm’s Sweet Suite

Lori’s place was lovely! We enjoyed the expansive yard and view of the farm and animals. We made many new animal friends, including chickens, goats, and sweet Bear (the friendly dog). Great place for pets- my dog had the best time. The cottage was cozy and comfortable and just what we needed to relax! Hope to came back soon!

2 nights at In The Pines

The cabin is so cute! The decor inside is lovely all the little touches and complimentary coffee was so nice. The hot tub was nice and firewood ready at the cabin for campfires. If I had one complaint it would be that I was expecting a little more privacy there’s close neighbors in every direction so just not quite what I was expecting but still room to roam. We walked down to the creek which is so pretty and later watched deer explore the creek too. We would definitely return

The cabin was a perfect getaway weekend for my husband and I (and our dog). It was 20 degrees outside the nights we stayed, but the cabin was warm and cozy with everything we needed. We loved hiking up to the tower and having a campfire at night. The hot tub was the best part! Stone Mountain Park is a short drive away and is one of the best parks in N.C. highly recommend!!
