Camp Grassland: Two of our prepped campsites are on a flattened area of the hillside field with access to a fire pit, log bench, and porta-potty. This location is in direct sun with beautiful views and easy access from the road. Parking at the top of the field is recommended unless you have a 4WD vehicle. Cabin Breazy: Situated at one of the highest points on the property, Cabin Breazy is our cozy, off-grid, dry A-frame cabin surrounded by mountain views. Farmhouse Holler: 2nd Campsite is located next to our old farmhouse on a lower section of the property. Its near the natural spring and is shaded. There are no convenient bathroom facilities at this location so it is recommended to bring your own. Reaching the porta-potty would require an extensive uphill hike or driving around to the other entrance. To reach this campsite, the driveway could be considered rough terrain so drive slowly. Lowered vehicles or those with little ground clearance are not recommended. Each campsite has a max occupancy of 2 people. If you need space for more campers, please reach out to us about how many are in your party. We can host groups with advanced notification. Overlanding vehicles are welcome. Attractions: If you are looking for birds-eye view of the area, visit the Mendota Fire Tower only 3.2 mile away. You can see it from the farm and see the farm from it. It's about a 15 minute hike from the road. You can choose the mildly challenging way up or take the old roadway for a smoother walk. Clinch River is only 20 minutes away. Cool off in the river or enjoy kayaking and tubing opportunities from Clinch River Adventures. Closest convenience store is about 15 minutes away. Closest Grocery store is about 20 minutes away. Our villa and the property grounds were beautifully well maintained and set up! There is an attention to detail and care and so my family and I had a wonderful stay! It’s very close to town for purposes of dining and of course to the National Parks for all the adventure. The only and I mean only little meh is that the WiFi that’s supposed to be available is too weak to use and there’s very little cell service - it was not a dealbreaker for us cause that’s not what we were out there for, but just for a full FYI.

I stayed in the artists cabin and was just in for a quick night’s stay. The place is so quaint and comfortable with a truly beautiful view of the pond via the deck. So much wildlife from this spot! I will definitely look to book this spot on my way thru Unicoi next time.

First I would highly recommend. The Pat and her son were most gracious. They provided a great tour of their place. Pat was baking goods for farmers market and Robin showed his blacksmith operation. The gallery where we stayed stood out with his handi work. I do plan on returning with my mini camper. I have stayed in various hipcamp sites, this one is tops. I really enjoyed the history of this farm place. The goats, buffalo and peacocks were an added feature. Wish I cold have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed the cabin/loft and the Healing spring natural environment! Everything was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and available. The sounds of stream was lovely. Much opportunity for birding on the property!

2 nights at Breath of Dawn Cabins & Camping

The description really can't do this place justice; you just have to enjoy it for yourself. The view obviously is unbelievable and is the star of the show. But Cabin Breezy is wonderful on it's own. You can tell Jessica put so much love and attention to detail in every inch of the mini but mighty A frame. We also weren't expecting to have an actual bathroom and shower to use (not just port-a-potties). So that was a major perk. My fiancé, our dog, and I came up for a little 2 night getaway for my birthday. Work has been WAY more stressful than usual lately for both of us. Staying on this land was cathartic in so many ways and we return home feeling completely renewed. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with the rest of us! 3 nights at Blue Bear Mountain Camp

We loved our stay at Blue Bear Mountain. The drive up from Boone is forested, but as soon as you enter the campground, the view opens up and you can see the NC sky: great for seeing the stars on a dark night! We stayed in the cabin, which was cozy and had a toilet separate from the campground bathrooms (shower was still in the shared campground structure). There is a small porch on the side for enjoying a quiet relaxing morning sunrise. Mike is a very friendly host and was very responsive to any questions we had. We already saved Blue Bear Mountain as a campground we would book again on another trip up to Boone.

Amazing staff- easy booking, very communicative and flexible, on-site available, aware and considerate of creating a memorable experience. EPIC property amenities- beautiful swimming pond, sauna, lounging decks, fully stocked kitchen, amazing remote-work space and collaborative work space with WIFI I spent 3 days working remotely while enjoying the peace and quiet of the land, then spent the evenings using the sauna and pond to cold plunge while I read books by the twinkle lights. Camping or glamping magic. Do yourself a favor and get outta town, head for Wunderland.

3 nights at TangleWood Creekside Campsites

This little cabin was so perfect for us! The bedroom was so cozy and the place was very warm and inviting. Finding it was very easy. It is about a 50 minute drive to Asheville from it. It’s right in the middle of wonderful views, beautiful drives and other places to visit. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway with simple needs and lots of rest needed as it was quiet. Love love love!

1 night at Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens

The Artist Studio was the perfect spot to stay on a solo road trip from Eastern Virginia to Nashville. The property was stunning and the studio was clean & cozy. Outstanding location 10 min from downtown Johnson City. The host, Pat, left delicious baked goods in the fridge of the studio. My highlight of the stay was enjoying a fresh baked good & coffee in the sun room overlooking the pond. Highly recommend!
