Site 5 was a nice secluded area where we could relax and enjoy the day. The lake had some good fishing spots and we enjoyed making a bonfire at our campsite. Would recommend to anyone who wants to leave the stress of the city for a few days

Beautiful farm, we loved the tractor shed campsite! Our kids loved the animals, our friends popped by for food around the fire, and Rebecca was a gracious and communicative host. We would stay here again!

We so enjoyed our stay on Wes’s property! Between us we had four kids ages 5 and under and they had so much to entertain themselves. We loved hanging out under the huge oak tree, using the tree swing, visiting the animals (especially the baby pigs!), and going for walks. Wes was easy to get ahold of and we had everything we needed!

Love this spot. Kids had the opportunity to see pigs, hold a lamb, see a donkey and we all enjoyed great music on the venue after Saturday at Saxapahaw. Will definitely come back again.

We were absolutely amazed by the expansive beauty of the property! Evelyn was incredibly kind and accommodating, and it’s clear she has invested a lot of thought into ensuring her guests have a memorable experience. We took advantage of the RV hookup site, which had everything we could possibly need throughout our stay. One of our favorite moments was spotting a charming family of deer one morning! We can’t wait to return and explore the water activities next time. 😊

We had a wonderful time tent camping here! This site is incredibly peaceful and private. We also took part in the native plant tour and found the information both fascinating and really really interesting! I highly recommend this Hipcamp spot.

Private, quiet and amazing atmosphere. Hosts were very friendly, helpful and assisted when and if needed. Onsite power (30 or 50 AMP) was great and onsite water, private shower was an amazing touch. Great experience would stay again.

We rented 'The Whole Enchilada' for 7 families with kids ranging from 4 to 7 years of age. It was the perfect way to initiate them to tent camping and they all loved it. We can't wait to go back. Wes and Kaitlin are superb hosts, very responsive and accommodating.

34' travel trailer, Ram 1500... Pros: Excellent spot for those interested in water sports: fishing, kayaking, SUP. Also an amazing spot for dark sky celestial viewing. Easy water access, private, secluded and the powered RV site is level and easily managed. Owner was very nice and accommodating, kept us informed of the surroundings and other campers. Cons: if you're looking for hiking trails, this site will serve as base camp but you'll need to drive to surrounding areas.
**Highly recommend for kayak fishing & SUP activity.

So we really enjoyed Scottview lake! We picked our campsite based on other reviews because there wasn’t a lot of pictures. We pulled up and the park owner met us out there and showed us where to go. Campsite 5 is in the woods and you either need a small vehicle to get in there or either hike your stuff down. If you like to be excluded from others, campsite five would be perfect for a small campsite. But the owner give us permission since no one else had scheduled to stay in any other lot that we wished. I would have to say that campsite for is by far the best site at Scott view Lake. It has its own little private fishing Cove and a nice fire pit and plenty of room. The area was extremely large and was really nice and the kids enjoyed catching fish. No water or electrical hook ups, but the owner allows folks to fill up water containers, which we done. This place is awesome and it will not be our last trip there that’s for sure. Plenty of sun for solar, charging, and plenty of shade for sun covering. If we stayed again, we would definitely stay in campsite four because I felt like it was the best campsite there. I hope this helps everyone in the future, but I definitely recommend this area and this place for camping for anybody looking for a private safe and quiet campsite.

I accidentally goofed and forgot to communicate with the host about my reactive dog, but the host was extremely understanding and able to work with me to find the best site on the property. I ended up camping at the first area available and still had view of the lake and a flat grassy area for my pup and I to stretch our legs. Even being at the front end of the property, the site was incredibly quiet and had a feeling of privacy. The only loud part of the stay were the frogs at night, but I love hearing the chorus of animals at night!

This was my second time coming to this wonderful spot. Rebecca does everything right. Last time I came solo and this time I came with my partner and his very anxious little dog. It was the dogs first time camping and they did great. They both loved it as much as I do. Can't wait to come back again.

Beautiful property and seriously nice owners. The pork products they sell are really delicious and the local community of Saxapahaw is interesting and worth checking out. I’m really happy we decided to camp at Saxapahaw Country Club and would love to come back in the future!
