Only 15 minutes away from downtown Wilmington. Go walk the riverfront, take a riverboat ride, visit a brewery and definitely go to see the battleship! This site is also a short drive to Wrightsville Beach approximately 20 minutes. (Going In yet another direction) The land is a 20 minute drive to charming Southport with shops, restaurants and the chance to see dolphins! Several movies have been filmed in the area. Also nearby you can go to see the Oak Island lighthouse. You can take the ferry from Southport to Bald Head island, ride golf carts and see the Bald Head Island Lighthouse and learn about saving turtles. Visit Carolina Beach (also known as Pleasure Island) which has a boardwalk, arcades, Brit’s donuts and the marina which offers boat cruises. Kure beach is and Carolina beach are both within about a thirty minute drive. On down the road from Kure beach is Historic Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium. Adventure awaits at whichever direction you choose. Please note that this camp site has no septic, no electric. You can camp with an RV and a generator. There’s no dumpster. Please keep site clean. There is a Community dock nearby (in walking distance from the site) that takes you through a trail in the woods and all the way to a beautiful view of the river! The site is tucked in with farmland but a short drive to conveniences. Lyft rides are available from the site to nightlife in downtown Wilmington! The area where this land is located has begun some expansion and some new homes. The land is located down a country road beyond large areas of fields, on a paved road with some woods. There's some new construction now on the street but there’s no HOA and it is still a peaceful site for glamping. Save money, enjoy a little nature and RV camp!

Some friends couldn't understand when we moved to southeast NC without any PLAN for our future. We are just happy to be alive each and every day that we are here. We are located in southeast NC, approximately 15-20 miles from area beaches. Our location is very "country" with lots of wildlife (deer, fox, rabbits, birds, etc...) roaming about. It is very quiet in the evenings and overnight. The campsite has a large paver stone patio and picnic table. We have a fire pit and when able we would be happy to host a night around the fire. We are pet friendly but request that dogs be on a leash or tie-out. We expect guests to pickup pet "litter".
Campers are encouraged to use the swing and chairs set back under the pines. Also campers will find a guest book in the little library under the pine tree with a concrete bench nearby (you drive around in as you pull into the campsite). The book contains our WiFi password (service not guaranteed). Please leave us a note about your stay.

Visit Carolina Beach (also known as Pleasure Island) which has a boardwalk, arcades, Brit’s donuts and the marina which offers boat cruises. Kure beach is and Carolina beach are both within about a thirty minute drive. On down the road from Kure beach is Historic Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium. Adventure awaits at whichever direction you choose. Please note that this camp site has no septic, no electric. You can camp with an RV and a generator. There’s no dumpster. Please keep site clean. There is a Community dock nearby (in walking distance from the site) that takes you through a trail in the woods and all the way to a beautiful view of the river! The site is tucked in with farmland but a short drive to conveniences. Lyft rides are available from the site to nightlife in downtown Wilmington! The area where this land is located has begun some expansion and some new homes. The land is located down a country road beyond large areas of fields, on a paved road with some woods. There's some new construction now on the street but there’s no HOA and it is still a peaceful site for glamping. Save money, enjoy a little nature and RV camp!

We are located in southeast NC, approximately 15-20 miles from area beaches. Our location is very "country" with lots of wildlife (deer, fox, rabbits, birds, etc...) roaming about. It is very quiet in the evenings and overnight. The campsite has a large paver stone patio and picnic table. We have a fire pit and when able we would be happy to host a night around the fire. We are pet friendly but request that dogs be on a leash or tie-out. We expect guests to pickup pet "litter".
Campers are encouraged to use the swing and chairs set back under the pines. Also campers will find a guest book in the little library under the pine tree with a concrete bench nearby (you drive around in as you pull into the campsite). The book contains our WiFi password (service not guaranteed). Please leave us a note about your stay.

Patricia is a beautiful soul. I loved being on the land here. Sometimes there's barking dogs in the distance which can be a little bit annoying. But overall I really like it here and would definitely recommend it. Compost toilet is very clean and easily accessible which I like. It's nice having the chickens here ... I enjoy the farm atmosphere... It brings back good memories since my grandparents had a farm. Patricia is very easy to communicate with and very kind to help in any way that she can to make my stay comfortable while I'm here. I'm Very happy overall being here.

Super convenient location, Reasonable Safe and the fact that the dog knew exactly where I was supposed to put my tent is amazing he's such a good Dog and will even come check on you every once in awhile!

I loved camping here! The skies were dark and great for star gazing. A really nice pine forest with plenty of space to setup camp. I was camping alone so I enjoyed the company of Vader the friendly dog coming every so often to check on me :)

Patricia was super willing to work with me and super friendly. I use Hipcamp sites exclusively instead of SniffSpots because I already am used to this app and they usually offer more of what I'm looking for. I just needed a large piece of land for an hour or two in the middle of the day for my dogs to run. (the outhouse was definitely a bonus!)
I specifically look for off-leash properties where there is nobody else currently camping. I always pay the full overnight charge even though I stay only an hour or so and she was willing to work with us on this. Vader 🐾 (her Mali/GSD) was super sweet and got along with my dogs without any problem, he was very very lovey!

We had another great stay in the cabins here! We were able to walk some of the trails on the property and were very happy with all the amenities in our cabin. This is a perfect spot for when we travel to the Wilmington area, but want to be out of the city. Love that the cabins are dog friendly too!

Weekend Trip to In the Pines RV and Cabin Village
We had a great stay in cabin 8! It was nice and warm on a chilly day, and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the space was very clean and decorated beautifully. This was a short trip, so we weren’t able to explore the property and amenities, but hope to return again soon and bring our dog!
