We had a great weekend camping at Nathan’s property! Nicely secluded and well kept site. Porta potty was definitely a bonus and super clean! Would recommend to anyone looking for an awesome camp site!

Beautiful piece of forest! We explored a little but mostly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The on site firewood and port a potty were nice to have. Well maintained site with tons of seating and tables. We will be back for sure!

A well kept campsite tucked back far from the road, and even further from the other available site. This location is very close to the parking area to access the gorge at Zoar Valley. If you are camping with the hopes of hiking for some beautiful views, this is the place.

Steven is a great host. He was there to greet us. He gave options as to where we could setup. I was provide with info on the area and offered additional suggestions on things to do. He is conveniently located to beaches, some cute small towns and things to do including Niagara Falls . We had a great time at his place. I highly recommend staying here.

We loved camping at Zoar Valley Forest Retreat. Nathan was a great host; he answered all my questions immediately with more detail to add. The camping site itself was extremely isolated, easy to get to and beautiful to unwind and relax. We had enough space for our car, tent, canopy, and hammock with lots of space left over. The site was close enough to everything we needed (towns, shopping, nature sightseeing— so many farms! etc.) but still distant enough that we felt we were completely alone (we were). We also drove an hour and some change up to Niagara Falls, which was absolutely amazing (I cried 3x), and spent the last day at Cattaragus Creek, which was straight out of a National Geographic magazine. The hike there and the swimming itself was phenomenal. I highly recommend this camping site and we would love to come back. Thanks, Nathan!

This is the second year in a row that my buddies and I took our kids here for some weekend camping and we had even more fun this time. It’s quiet, clean, spacious, porta potty close by, counted about 5 cars going down the road all weekend and it was extremely hot and muggy this weekend but since the site is in the woods we were covered with shade and a nice cool breeze. Bugs weren’t terrible either. Cattaraugus Creek is 6 miles away so you can go tubing, fishing or go for a nice walk since the water only gets about two feet deep in most spots with plenty of shores and mini islands. If you’re looking for a nice quiet spot to pitch a tent, not be around a bunch of people and just relax, this is the place for you! It’s also pet friendly.

We really loved this campsite. It was very private and quiet. We had great campfires thanks to the availability of lots of dry wood. Everything was very clean and Nathan was responsive to all of our questions. We especially loved our hike into Zoar Valley. We walked on the Valentine Flats Trail, which ended at the confluence of two rivers.

I loved this site! Private and comfortably hosted myself and my friends for Memorial Day weekend. Close to a beautiful trail and easy access to the Gorge nearby, I highly recommend checking this place out! A family of owls lives nearby, don’t be alarmed by the odd sounds at night- Barred Owls can sound somewhat like coyotes but it was very neat hearing them in the dark.

This site was great and would definitely come back! There were only 3 of us but also a great spot for larger groups. We got a lot of use out of the fire pit and pizza oven! Greatly appreciated that bundled of firewood was available for purchase. It had rained recently and site was easy to get in/out of. Lots of great trails a short drive away. Thanks for putting together such a great camp site!
