It is located in Columbia County near the Massachusetts and New York border. There are currently 5 unique camping areas located here. Each one is special due to its location on the hill. Check out our map and enjoy our spacious yet secluded campsites and our new off-grid double shower shack with hot and cold water on demand. This place has a relaxed atmosphere and is located near Catamount Ski Resort, Bash Bish Falls, Taconic State Park, Hudson NY, and Great Barrington, MA.
If you plan on bringing a pet please be sure to add that fee to your booking under "extras" ($25) If you have additional guest(s) that would like to join you that fee is ($25 a night per person) and you will need to message us about how to arrange that. SPACIOUS SKIES WOODLAND HILLS
is a family-friendly campground located in upstate New York amidst the Taconic and Berkshire mountain ranges, set between Albany and Pittsfield, MA, and only two hours north of New York City and two hours west of Boston, MA.
We offer both wooded and open sites that can accommodate any size trailer. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, water, 30 or 50-amp electrical service, and many offer sewer. Groups and tent campers are welcome.
Woodland Hills campground is easily accessed from Interstate 90. The campground’s private pond offers swimming, fishing, and paddle boating. Come in for the classic camp atmosphere and our camp store carries many convenience items and treats. We have three Riverside Retro trailers to rent for campers who don’t have their own rigs but who also don’t want to tent overnight, as beautiful as our wooded tent sites are!

My property, while small and humble, is located in a convenient area close to many exciting outdoor activities. The land is about 2 acres and sited within a rural residential area. Nearby are many activities including hiking numerous parks and trails, biking the Empire State Trail, boating and swimming on the Hudson River, and plenty of restaurants nearby in Germantown, Catskill and Hudson. The Germantown Boat Launch is just 1.5 miles down the road where you can put in your kayaks / canoes, or cookout in the park.

Lake Taghkanic is a great place for both summer and winter stays, with plenty of tent campsites as well as cabins and cottages, and a variety of activities to do year round. For winter folks, there's cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails, as well as ice skating and ice fishing areas, and plenty of fire pits to warm those chilly bones. For summer lovin', there are two beaches, so if someone kicks sand in your potato salad (accidentally, of course), you can just go to another beach and pretend like it never happened. The only sleeping quarters that are on the water are some of the cottages in the West End Cottage Area, so if you're planning on playing Beach Party Bingo, plan accordingly or be willing to walk a bit from your tent or cabin.

Great stay with Joanna at the little log cabin. Beautiful property and fun downtown area in Hillsdale. Family enjoyed it very much and hope to return again. Peaceful and unplugged.

The Black & Tan cabin was great for us. For 2 adults, a 1.5 yr old and 2 dogs. It was secluded, had great area for playing, grilling and hanging by the fire. It had just enough features for staying plugged in but you could be completely off the grid if you want. I loved the bed, futon can be stiff (wife liked it). The cabin has big windows which got all the fresh air in at night. Best sleep we’ve all had in a while. My only recommendation would be to add one of those magnetic screens for the front door to keep that open all day without the flys getting in. The shower shack was also great. If you want complete seclusion this place is great cause we knew other people were on property but it never was an issue, didn’t see or hear them once in our area. We’ll be coming back for sure.

This was my second stay at this wonderful property. However this time we stayed in the new cabin which was super nice and tastefully set up. The cabin is very close to the showers which are also very nice and modern. The bed here is very comfortable. But I'd say the sofa, which flattens out, is not very comfortable for an adult. small kids probably won't care! All in all a very pretty property and close to a quaint town of Hillsdale for your needs.

We were lucky enough to be the first official visitors to Joanna’s new cabin! Great campgrounds, well maintained. Loved the outdoor shower and the cabin was very comfortable. Joanna is a great host and very responsive. The location is wonderful. We look forward to coming back!
