Paved road (County road D-087) access just 1 mile north of US-70 and Organ, NM. Property is 10 miles east of Las Cruces, NM & 45 miles west of White Sands National Monument. Great Thai restaurant (Renoo’s) in Organ as well as a US Post Office. Anything else you might need is available with a short drive to Las Cruces. This is a nice landscape property with several amenities to enjoy. I encourage guests to take advantage of the features. We've got a full-size bocce ball court, walking paths, hot tub, fountain seating area, outdoor fire place, propane barbeque, laundry facilities, pergola patio, grass area for guests and their pets to enjoy during their stay. Beautiful desert land with a view of Hueco Tanks State Park. This land is barely starting up so do not expect any glamping or 5 star facilities. There is electricity for RVs or window units for tents. There's also a porta potty. There is a little trash here and there but I am working on cleaning this place up. Be patient and enjoy it for what it is. All natural! Be safe, this is the desert and home to critters, spiders, horned frogs, lizards, ants, cayotes, and probably snakes although I haven't seen any. There is a little shed where you can cook, get some shade, or just relax. The mesquite trees are being worked on so they are not big enough to provide decent shade. Be safe, be smart and have water with you at all times. There is no water, and no showers. But I am working on it! This spot is perfect for those hip campers visiting Hueco Tanks and need a spot to park or rest. It's for hip campers that are used to primitive camping and also to the people in the city that want to get away for a night or two but not drive too far out. The sunsets and stargazing are amazing. Far from the city but close enough to a 10 min drive to a grocery store.

They sit just south of El Bordo Road, the main drag off Franklyn Road and there is a cable box along El Bordo. Take NM 549 to Franklyn Road. Head south 2.5 miles to El Bordo Rd then head East 1.5 miles to Mito Road. USE THE GPS. The property located in Luna County about 45 minutes from West of Las Cruces NM, it's a rural countryside setting off Franklyn Rd about 20 minutes SE of Deming. I suggest you bring a dedicated GPS like a Garman and more reliable then your phone. Be smart print out map, bring a shovel, water, food blankets, mace, a dog and anything else you might need if you get stuck for a day or two. Be safe and have fun. She’s a beautiful earth. This was my first Hipcamp stay! I stayed here by myself and had a great experience. Since it was my first time using Hipcamp I had a lot of questions and Larry always gave quick friendly and helpful responses. The Organ mountains are gorgeous. I loved the views I had from this property, which was easy to find with the directions given in the app. It made for a great affordable sleep on my way to White Sands the following day. Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our time here. Although the space wasn’t wide enough to raise our awning much the benefit was shade and protection as the stationary RV on one side and shipping container on the other kept the wind and solar rays down. It is quiet and during our stay no one else was around. Gorgeous mornings in the valley with partially shaded walks along the canal from our site made the extra 5 minutes to town worth it.

Good simple campsite with nice views of the mountains. Easy to get to, but it is pretty close to the road, so not a ton of privacy. Also, as noted in the description, there are large dump trucks traversing the road (even pretty late at night and early in the morning and even on the weekend). Not a big deal, but just something to be aware of if you are looking for something a little quieter.

We had a view from all directions of mountians and rock formations. You really felt removed from the world out there. We had site 43 which had hookups ( we were communicated ahead of time that 50 amp may not work but 30 amps did fine would which was good for us) the site was a bit odd shaped for hookup but nice size and my Australian Shepherd enjoyed getting out and running a bit to release his Zoomies. It is very outside of El Paso and make sure you follow their directions they send and not your GPS. This was a great experience!

I loved this RV/campsite!!!! Excellent all around! Tough place to keep a safe eye on younger kids, but above 10 years old is 👌! Extremely cean bathrooms and wonderful, hot shower (bring $1 or $5 bills for shower - $1 = 1.5 min for shower 😉 The view is 💯. Huge community fireplace with detailed instructions everywhere of their reasonable, self-responsibke expectations while on property. Soooo quiet out there!!! Will be back, no question! 😄🙌
