There are curtains and sun blockers for privacy. When you wake up in the morning you will watch the sun rise over Turtleback Mountain. 1 block away is the Rio Grande and Rotary Park. It's 4 blocks to the main. Located in the downtown area and hot springs district, the property has a well that draws out the hot springs at about 98 degrees and pours it in to an outdoor tub- perfect for a warm winter day or summer evenings. It can be reserved for an additional fee upon arrival. 4 blocks from the downtown area you can easily access other spas, restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, thrift shops, and the grocery store. Wake up in the morning, walk down to the river and you'll see heron, coots, osprey, sandhill crane, red wing black birds, and so many more wildlife. The coyotes regularly sing throughout the night.  I tend the property and you may see me around if I need to do light repair work. There is a care taker for the property who lives there and may be another guest as well. The property is 1/2 a city block. 5 nights at Casita on Sapillo Creek Escape

Really cute little casita. Bigger than I expected. Jennifer warned me that it was rustic and indeed it was. Comfortable bed, camping like cooking and washing capabilities. That is what I was looking for. The night sky was amazing as were all the hikes around. The hot springs are 30 mins away on a beautiful drive and well worth it. Daily.

A little slice of quiet rustic heaven in a very noisy world. Jennifer & Tommy were great hosts, very helpful & hospitable. The location was perfect for exploring The Gila Natl Forrest with my pup. We visited the Gila Cliff Dwellings Visitor Center & received his Bark Ranger badge, hiked on numerous dog friendly trails & soaked in the hot springs. The Casita had everything we needed to stay comfortably & even though our trip was in mid December, we stayed toasty warm & cozy. I felt safe & very at peace here. The casita was very clean, as is the property & very dog friendly. We both slept better than we have in a while, coming from the city. Lake Roberts is beautiful, with the casita so close. I look forward to another trip so I can bring my kayak & enjoy the mountain lake.

We had a wonderful time in TorC and loved our stay in the Winnebago. It was so cute and well decorated and had everything we needed and the host was wonderful, met us at the gate when we arrived, showed us around, and gave us some good recommendations for the area.
