Leo’s land was perfect for our last night after a long two weeks of dispersed camping. There was a fire pre-made just waiting to be lit, and Leo offered us coffee and hot chocolate the following morning. Leo was easy to talk to, and gave us some great recommendations for a future trip! We had a great stay at Leo’s place. He was a wonderful host! The spot was very large, well maintained and level with easy access to all hookups. Leo had a fire pit with all of the wood for fires throughout our stay, it was a great touch. Leo has chickens on his property and allowed our children to go over each day and help to feed and care for them, it really made the kids feel special and was such a great experience for them. We would absolutely recommend anyone to go and stay with Leo while in Vegas. Thank you for everything Leo!!

Weekend Trip to Beagletopia - Your Quiet Escape!

It was wonderful camping. close enough to civilization that I didn't have to worry if I forgot something, but far enough away that it was quiet all weekend - unless you don't like the sound of coyotes singing, and dark enough to sit out, watch the sunset, and enjoy a nice pour of Weller C.Y.P.B.. My trailer is 22 feet, so I would pull in, and still unhook, giving me a great view of the mountains. Some weekends, I just need to get away from the house and all the stuff, and I will certainly look for this spot.

I enjoyed the dome campsite and its secluded location very much. I'm a podcaster and I recorded my journey through Lovell Canyon and my experience at the dome for my show. I plan to use the dome again but on my next visit I will be bringing my fellow podcast hosts. We stayed here for 10 days with our class A RV and had a great experience! The site was private, peaceful, and really well kept. Full hookups worked perfectly, and you can tell Leo takes pride in keeping everything nice and tidy! Site was spacious and had everything we needed! Leo was awesome- super friendly, easy to talk to, and always happy to help with anything we needed! Felt like we were staying at a friends and we were super comfortable! Exactly as described - I didn’t get to meet the camel cause I was there so briefly (10p-6a for one night) BUT I admired both horses and alpacas! Would def stay again - without traffic it’s less than 10 mins from the airport. (Midday it would prob be like 16-17 min)

This campsite was perfect for a stop in our trip with a little more amenities after a few nights of primitive camping. We really appreciated Irma checking in with us when we arrived and her husband came out to greet us and turn off the barn light as well as offer us water and electricity. We also loved having the bathroom and hot shower. Overall a cute little stop surrounded by nature and beautiful mountains.

I had a peaceful stay at the alchemist! The host was very accommodating, shower and bathroom was clean, and the goats and chickens were neat, certainly got my cats attention. Great spot for a few nights stop over and close enough for day trips to Death Valley, Vegas or Valley of Fire SP

Weekend Trip to Retro Camper with Mountain Views

I personally went for the views of the night sky, but found the views gorgeous 360° at all hours! Especially as the sun began to go down, the shadows gave a different perspective on the mountains. So each moment, I was in awe, at the beauty. The town is quite lively, even though it's advertised as a quiet town. I appreciate the experience and Heather's spot provided everything we needed to enjoy this experience! Thank you Heather!

This was a last min booking for a quick overnight to regear and power up devices. The property and site as well as communication with the hosts was super easy. Carlos was on site to help with anything I needed. The property was close to town but private and on a quiet street. I loved the sound of the working rescue farm. The shower and bathroom were really clean and the water was hot. This is my new favorite spot in Nevada.
