Our property sits on 2 acres in the heart of Las Vegas. It is one of the original homesteads of Las Vegas which we are trying to take back to a homestead. The original owners of the property played a huge hand in the building of Vegas. As we have cleaned up the property treasures of a 100 years ago have been found all over the property. On the property you will find a huge garden out front that you are welcome to pick from. We also have over 50 trees on the property you are welcome to walk around and enjoy. If you find yourself in the duck coop or the chicken coop and find an egg you are welcome to enjoy it. Feel free to enjoy the pool, bbq and outside bathroom which has a shower, and full size washer and dryers. We are a smoke/drug free site please be respectful of this rule and violators will be asked to leave without refund. Because we are a "working hobby farm" you will see some weeds and you may even see a project or two we are working on, feel free to join in but please be understanding that in order for us to improve things it will get little messy and can take time to complete. Also, please check the weather before you book, Vegas if very hot during the summer months, if your rig doesn't have AC you will not be comfortable as night temps can be easily over 100.

Best Hipcamp ever! Emily was a wonderful host. We felt so welcome. I can’t overstate how perfect the set up is. Our van had privacy while being literal steps away from the pool and bathroom that included a shower and laundry! The amenities make this really stand out. The power and water access was better than some RV parks while being cheaper. We took a Lyft to the strip, very easy.
We will be back for sure and highly recommend to all travelers.

Emily and Nate are very friendly and accommodating. Nate was very helpful on local recommendations. We had a very busy weekend and didn’t get to spend a lot of time on site. We had use of the shower and bathroom that was right beside the outdoor pool. It was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the entire stay and highly recommend. We definitely would stay again. Thank you Emily and Nate!

2 nights at Mojave Desert Ranch
This was the second time we enjoyed staying at the Hummingbird tiny home and spending an extra night was well needed. The hosts Sandi and Rob were very accommodating and friendly and easy to contact about anything. We enjoyed everything the tiny home had to offer, including nights outside around the campfire and enjoying the peace and quiet that Vegas can’t always offer. We felt very safe and welcomed during our stay. We hope to come back more often for these types of getaways!

The hosts were fantastic, very welcoming! We were offered fresh eggs and delicious homemade bread. We highly recommend this Hipcamp!

Weekend Trip to Mojave Desert Ranch
We love Sandy Valley Ranch and look forward to going as often as we can. This was our third time staying and first time staying in the tipi! They provide a space heater and heated blanket so you can be nice and cozy. I still recommend bringing warm layers. We were pleasantly surprised with the little outhouse, it was a regular toilet. We didn't get to use the shower but it's really a perfect setup.
The outside couches were perfect for lounging in and we especially love making breakfast and hot chocolate in the mornings. They also have a mini fridge which we appreciate. You have everything you need. The dogs and farm are always something we look forward to as well.
I would recommend staying!

Had a pleasant stay. The owners are very friendly and kind. The spot was big. It was nice to swing in the swing chair by the pool. Really appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer. The bathroom was a little cold in the morning but the showers were hot! ❤️ walked to Starbucks one morning as it was only .5 miles away. Fun to be on an urban farm!

This little homestead was perfect for us. We don’t need or want to stay at places where your neighbor is breathing down your neck. Here we had privacy, everything we needed, and it was close to the strip. We had a great two night stay and would highly recommend it. We will be back!
