This custom designed glamping lodge was a dream of mine for a long time. I wanted a place to go to unwind and be with one with nature. But! wanted it close to town so I do not have to travel far and still be close to the city attractions.
The lodge backs up to a large hill--called the Loess Hills. Many deer, raccoon, possum and turkey call it home and so does a few pets of mine to include a mini horse and goat. They just love being adorned by new people. I think you will find this a perfect place for a good nights sleep.

MOST dogs are welcomed -- BUT need to be approved first! before booking. ADDITIONAL FEE REQUIRED> Walking trails close by! and restaurants. Verify with host before booking please. The bathroom/shower is located across the yard in the lower level of the main house.

We purchased our acreage a few years ago and it was very neglected, inside the house and even outside. We are proud of all the work and progress we’ve made. While we still have some improvements to make on our house, the outside is quickly becoming our very own paradise. We have a garden, fruit trees, berry bushes and chickens. With advance notice I'm happy to give a tour of the property. If you prefer to tour on your own please do!
On the back of our property we have a swimming pond with lots of little fish and frogs and other water creatures, all safe to swim with.
During the warm months help yourself to the fun beach toys, paddle board and paddle boat. We simply ask you care for them like you would your own.
There is also a large playground area in the trees, close to our house. Please don't hesitate to check it out and let your kiddos play on it!
The garden area is on the south part of our property. You can help yourself to a few garden goods. There you'll also find a sand pit with tonka trucks for your kiddos to also enjoy.
Hammocks can be found throughout the property in the shaded wooded area as well as picnic tables.

Before the bailey's homesteaded the land the only other inhabitants could have been the migratory Pawnee. For the last hundred + years the farm has been in the bailey family, from a father with many children passing land to his sons, and eventually it would fall in the hands of his grandaughters' family who would eventually have a daughter herself who would start a produce business with a vision for living along the creek. So come here the many stories of times gone by and get a feast of what's to come!Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent next to the Shell Creek, access to a picnic table and a fire ring. You will have privacy and also the ability to help out with farm life if you are so inclined.There is access to water and a composting toilet.A Great Pyrenees lives here. She's the livestock guardian, she keeps watch over the farm at night. Please don't bring your dogs.Pack it in. Pack it out. Leave no trace.
