Our home is located in Emigrant, Montana. We are approx. 34 miles from YNP and less than 10 minutes to the nearest Yellowstone River access. As the name implies, our campsite provides a convenient "basecamp" for exploring YNP or experiencing the Yellowstone River through Fly Fishing or water sports such as kayaking, white-water rafting, canoeing and or SUP. Our campsite provides the perfect retreat after hiking and experiencing Yellowstone. After spending the day doing whatever you please in Paradise Valley or the surrounding areas, come back to your campsite and relax in the hot tub and prepare dinner on the BBQ & amp; Star Gaze. In Emigrant, there is a bank and a post office as well as a bakery and a BBQ restaurant and The Old Saloon. Additionally, there is a small gas station, laundromat and a general store.
We offer 20Amp electrical-hook up. We do offer water hook up through a hose. The nearest dump station is 1/2 hour in either direction (Gardiner or Livingston). There are NO on-site outdoor SHOWERS or BATHROOMS, you must be totally self-sufficient in that area. Ken Leaves for work Mon. -Thurs. around 6:00 AM. Our home is located in Emigrant, Montana. We are approx. 34 miles from YNP and less than 10 minutes to the nearest Yellowstone River access. As the name implies, our campsite provides a convenient "basecamp" for exploring YNP or experiencing the Yellowstone River through Fly Fishing or water sports such as kayaking, white-water rafting, canoeing and or SUP. Our campsite provides the perfect retreat after hiking and experiencing Yellowstone. After spending the day doing whatever you please in Paradise Valley or the surrounding areas, come back to your campsite and relax in the hot tub and prepare dinner on the BBQ & amp; Star Gaze. In Emigrant, there is a bank and a post office as well as a bakery and a BBQ restaurant and The Old Saloon. Additionally, there is a small gas station, laundromat and a general store.
We offer 20Amp electrical-hook up. We do offer water hook up through a hose. The nearest dump station is 1/2 hour in either direction (Gardiner or Livingston). There are NO on-site outdoor SHOWERS or BATHROOMS, you must be totally self-sufficient in that area. Ken Leaves for work Mon. -Thurs. around 6:00 AM. We are only four miles to downtown Livingston and 39 miles to the entrance of Yellowstone park . The directions are accurate but finding the pull off was a bit difficult. It is before the bridge; don’t cross the bridge it is behind you.

Well maintained campground with fantastic host and some of the swankiest camping showers and restrooms ive ever seen, seriously those ammenities were better than some hotels ive stayed at. 20 minutes from livingston and 45 minutes from yellowstone, hikes in the area. Had a wonderful time! Watch for deer when driving.

This was our first time at Pine Creek Lodge, and we had the best time. The vibe is amazing – laid-back, welcoming, and full of good energy. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly nice and helpful. We arrived a bit early after a long drive and probably looked a little lost, but the staff didn’t miss a beat. They made us feel right at home right away. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly relax. Highly recommend – can’t wait to return!

The Ellison ranch is the epitome of hipcamping! Big ranch, lots of space and privacy. The dogs so enjoyed it!! They also loved when I would get in the river with them for fun :)

The sights around the area are spectacular not to mention the wildlife!! Do not miss Natural Bridge Falls. It isn't far away at all. The drive alone is spectacular!
I rode my bike for 13 miles from the ranch down a forest road and it was breath taking. I really enjoyed my time in Big Timber as well. I love small towns where people are polite, helpful and friendly.
If you have an rv, Big Timber Tire has an rv dump even after hours.

Doesn’t get much easier. Tents are 50-100 feet from the stage. Bathrooms are beyond nice and cleaned daily. Surrounded 360* by mountains. Sound of the creek flowing in the background. Staff are all wonderful. Given the opportunity, I will always rent this site.
