You can make a full meal from what they offer, but for more variety, shop in Cody, Livingston, or Gardiner before arrival. We keep cooking oil and spice at the house. Whether you are renting to work remotely, need a basecamp for a month of wildlife viewing, or want to provide your family with a unique summer experience, this house will cover your basic needs with ease - shelter, kitchen, internet, and a shower. WE DO NOT HAVE A TV. THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE IN COOKE CITY and many places in the park and to the east into WY. You will want to use "calling over wifi" to make phone calls when you are in wifi, and using this option, your phone works as normal. NO SMOKING NO PETS We built this with our own hands, just the two of us! Thousands of hours of sweat, sometimes tears, a LOT of hard work, long days, missed skiing, and sacrifices. Our Yellowstone river edge is nestled at the bottom of our property. It is a seluded campnig area with beautiful veiws, swimming, rafting, fishing, with a propane fire pit and complete relaxation. We offer a 2-3 person small cabin with outdoor heated propane shower, propane grill, port-a-potty, wash sink, propane refridgerator, airconditioner, and a comfortable queen murrphy bed. There is plenty of room for tents and/or 5+ RVs for a family or friend get together!

Sandy and Jerry were excellent hosts and their property is beautiful! The setting along the river is very peaceful. Water on one side and mountains all around. They were very accommodating and had plenty of local suggestions. We were greeted upon our arrival and offered a hand with anything we needed. Very flexible with where we could park in the yard. The cabin was beautiful and everything was new and in wonderful condition. Very close to the Northeast Gate of Yellowstone and perfect for us because we love to drive Lamar Valley in the mornings and evenings. Check in instructions were a little vague, but they returned my call promptly to explain what to do if coming in late. Also, the Hipcamp listing said checkout before noon, but when we got there, our paperwork said we would be charged $75 and our possessions removed if we were there after 10:00am. We got up for sunrise in the park and came back for late breakfast and to pack; we were planning on a little later checkout than 10:00 am, but it worked out. We would definitely stay again.

We loved full hookup camping at riverside private campsite! Utilities are positioned so RV can be oriented to site along side and facing river. Had 3 bars on phone service. We traveled 30 minutes to visit Cody one day, 25 minutes another day to visit Red Lodge, and also took the scenic Beartooth and Chief Joseph scenic highways. Roads are very easy and fast to drive to areas noted. This campsite was absolutely beautiful with the friendliest, amazing hosts. They are so willing to provide information etc… or leave you to yourself if you want. We loved visiting with them and will absolutely be back. They do work during day. It looks like you are close to house but site is very private. There are pig races down the road at the Bearcreek steak house (15 minute drive). We saw lots of birds on the river and the hosts say fishing is amazing.
