The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings. ***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

3 nights at Lost Paddle and Pole

We spent 3 nights in the yurt here. It rained quite a bit and the temperatures got pretty chilly, but the yurt had an electric heater, that kept us more than comfortable. 2 adults, 2 children under 10 and our dog. We had plenty of room outside to cook and hang out. The yurt was thoughtfully arranged to feel plenty spacious and comfortable for the 5 of us. You cannot beat the location of this hipcamp. We spent 3 days in the park, but it is conviently close to Kalispell and Whitefish as well. We will definitely stay again.

Terri was an incredible host, and my little dog and I felt so welcome and relaxed. It was truly a rejuvenating stay and a must-visit in the Glacier area.

Terri’s Yurt and hospitality made for a perfect base camp on our trip to Glacier National Park! The yurt and common areas were clean, comfortable, and well-kept. For two adults with a pretty significant amount of hiking gear, we felt like we had plenty of space. The quick drive to the west entrance of the park was a huge plus! Highly recommended!

Great accommodations if you're visiting Glacier as it's less than 10 minutes away. The front desk and grounds staff were very friendly, the yurt was clean and comfortable (#3), and it was really great having 24/7 access to the lounge and laundry. We'd definitely stay here again!

Terri and the Mooseshroom yurt were awesome. The yurt had everything from coffee to bear spray. The yurt had a porta-potty as well as a communal bathroom + shower room for the whole camp. Everything was clean and the host was very accommodating. All that plus being 20 min from the park entrance was so amazing!

We had a fantastic stay at North American RV Park and Yurt Village. It was noisy at night but we expected that so had no issues, just bring your ear plugs. The location and amenities were fantastic and the advice we got from the team on what to do in Glacier National Park was incredible with lots of little local gems provided to us. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to Glacier National Park.

This was my first booking through Hipcamp and now I am spoiled. Terri's place offered everything you could ask for and more. Yurt was comfortable; bath house was clean and well stocked with towels, warm water and soaps. The 'commons' area including the kitchen; gas grills and a large fire pit was also well stocked with teas, spices, pots, pans and other miscellaneous items that you sometimes forget when packing to camp. My dog didn't want to leave. Great location to west entrance of Glacier and well situated to several restaurants nearby. The fire pit provided a friendly gathering place where we chatted with other guests. Will stay here again when we visit Glacier NP.

Terri is an amazing host who thinks of everything. We stayed in the Glacier Yurt which has a queen size bed and is is very spacious. The property is super clean and private. I would highly recommend staying here and it is very close to Glacier Natonal Park.

Weekend Trip to North American RV & Yurt Village

The yurts were clean and had plenty of space for my family of 4. The fans were a blessing in the middle of the day for sure. The only downfall is it's close to the road. I would recommend ear plugs for light sleepers! All the bathrooms/showers were very clean and the grounds are well taken care of. Best of all it was so close to Glacier! We had a great stay!
