Even though somewhat marred by some from northern fires, the views were still beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. Justin was great, very flexible when a problem with our rv caused us to be a day late. He was very helpful in getting us situated so our camper was level.

This site is amazing! The solitude and views are breathtaking. Long ride up on gravel roads with views the entire way. Justin is very welcoming, friendly, and informative. The starry sky is huge and the sunset is right out your front windows.

Great views, and great host! Justin worked with me when my trip had to be altered due to health and allowed me to flex my stay by a couple days. He’s a fantastic host and will make sure you’re settled and check to see if you need anything.
If you’re there in August, be mindful of the potential for wildfires in the mountains, Justin kept apologizing for the smoke covered mountains, but I absolutely loved it. The light was special as the sun set from the smoke, but I love moody sunsets. I love experiencing the outdoors in all its varying degrees.

Loved camping here. It was nice and quiet. My dog loved laying in the creek to cool off and playing in the yard. The sites are very well maintained by the host and the host was very helpful in directing me to the site and communication.

Absolutely beautiful place to camp! Our host was so responsive and kind. Easy to follow directions, smooth arrival process. The views from our site were perfect. It’s definitely a quiet area so I wouldn’t recommend for loud groups. Voices definitely carry in the mountains so we encouraged our kiddo try to keep the noise down. Would love to stay here again!

I got caught in a storm while on Stephen’s land so I couldn’t make the most of it, but the property was beautiful and Stephen was a kind host! I even saw some fawns while heading to my site.

1 night at Whispering Wind
My daughter and I loved this unique stay during our travels in Montana. It was truly a highlight, and we loved meeting and talking to Kelli, who was super responsive, helpful and friendly. We slept well and enjoyed the views and visiting with the goats on the property. As long as you read the description and know what to expect, you will likely love this place as much as we did! We loved camping on Stephen’s property! It was grassy, which was great for our pup to run around on. Also very peaceful with it being creekside. Stephen was very responsive and organized with his check in and check out instructions.

We had a great 5-star stay at Justin’s Hipcamp! We arrived late and he stayed up to show us to our spot. He was super friendly and kind, gave us info about the surrounding area, and even helped us figure out how to get to our next destination. Really appreciated the hospitality! 10/10 we would come back and recommend him to our friends and family.

Justin’s land held a peaceful & mostly private safe space (some neighbors I never heard- and you may share the 2 other sites with someone but in my case I had the evening to myself). Stunning views, personable & respectful host, simple instructions provided, would easily stay again.

Everything was as described, fantastic views, clear directions from Justin the host. We were unable to fill up with water before arriving, Justin went out of his way to get us some water.

What an absolutely wonderful campsite we had! Justin met us when we got there and showed us where to go and then left us to get settled. Later, he came down to see if there was anything we needed and gave us a lot of good information about the area. We were there for three nights and he made sure he stopped by a couple times every day to check on us, couldn’t ask for a better host or a better location! The views are tremendous and the night sky was beautiful. Thank you again Justin and forever in your neck of the woods will certainly come back!
