The Beartooth Highway is nearby and takes you through the Absaroka and Beartooth Mountains complete with glacial lakes and lush forests. Fantastic host that’s very knowledgeable about what it takes for a camper to have a great time. The cabin is nice, right on the river and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Lots of room outside and very peaceful and quite except a train passing through every once in awhile which we didn’t mind. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and book and you won’t regret it. Thanks to the host for a great stay and for having us. If ever in the area again we will definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Yellowstone River Camp

Absolutely loved this Hipcamp spot! The property was peaceful, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for. Plenty of space to set up camp, great privacy, and the natural surroundings made it a perfect getaway. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend this site if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing escape.

Easy enough to find with a little help from Google. Lots of space with lots of big trees. Big time quite only interrupted by bird calls and songs. Friendly host Dan who’ll even set you up with a campfire. Short walk to restroom/showers. Water is hot and facilities are clean. All for a nice price. Thanks Dan. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful and peaceful site under the trees, surrounded by green pasture. We were the only guests, so it felt very private. Nice and clean bathroom with shower. 30 minute ride to Red Lodge, feels like you are away from everything.

We actually used the gravel, back in lot, for our class C for full hook ups. The place has laundry facilities, electric, water and sewage. It’s easily accessible and was very centrally located, right across the street from coffee/beer/ wine/food shop. It’s also dog-friendly.

Weekend Trip to Old West RV Park

Old West RV Park is a little gem! Even with renovations going on during our stay, the grounds were neat as a pin and the bathrooms were super clean. But the best part of staying here? The owners! Jeremy and Ivy are wonderfully kind, thoughtful people who go above and beyond in many senses of the word. Jeremy came over to greet us in person and make sure we had everything we needed…even though we arrived WAY later than normal office hours. Then, when my wife and I had a family emergency during our stay, they were super empathetic and accommodating, in spite of our constantly shifting plans. If you’re looking for a clean, safe, comfortable place to stay where you’re not just another number on a rear view mirror tag, this is it.
