I am one mile from Hwy 93 so you can hear traffic noise sometimes. Planes do fly over once in awhile as well. This is a dry camp and rustic camping, sites are fairly far apart. This property is so beautiful and peaceful out here at night. Seasonal Spring fed pond, Ponderosa pine trees, fallen white birch, rustic and gorgeous. Some of my camp spots are on rough terrain. I always suggest you get out and walk around to see what you can manage with your vehicle. The idea of my place is more wilderness camping, there is wildlife that come through. RV camp spots on the east and west end of the pond. Camp spot out by the wooden round pen on the west side. Completely private, borders 2000 acres of a bird sanctuary. Two blocks from Bitterroot river canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swim, trails, hiking, scenery, wildlife. My pond is spring fed, which means that is goes up and down with the seasons and run off from the snow in the mountains and collects cotton from the trees when they shed. As the summer goes by the pond levels go way down, please be aware of that.

Live Oak Belgians

Welcome to our working horse ranch, home to Belgian heavy draft and Friesian horses. We offer carriage, wagon, and sleigh rides (availability may vary), and camping is set in a lush green horse pasture that is not currently in use. Because this is an active ranch, you may hear typical ranch sounds throughout the day. Work often begins around 7:00 AM, and occasionally activity may continue into the evening or late at night. We usually greet guests upon arrival whenever possible. However, since we may be out working when you arrive, we’ll send a text with check-in and arrival instructions. You’re always welcome to call if you have questions or run into any issues. A quick note about the roads: several reviews mention the county gravel roads leading to our property. From Hwy 93, there are three turnoffs that all bring you here—each is about 3 miles and similar in distance and condition. Road quality mainly depends on how recently the county grader has passed through. This is Montana—we love our gravel roads, and we like taking it slow!

A small family farm working toward sustainability. Easy to access from I-90, drive in camping for a stop overnight or a home base while you explore the many attractions nearby. Learn more about this land: We are 20 miles east of Missoula, MT near the Kettlehouse Ampitheater in Bonner. Our location is halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. There are mountain bike paths, river access points for paddling, rafting or fishing within minutes of our land. We can even help you know where to go. Our land is surrounded by Nature Conservancy land with a public recreation easement, so you can hike and take your horse for a ride very easily, just let us know and we will point you in the right direction. Our child had a significant medical emergency that required a lot of travel to Seattle Children's and 4 brain surgeries recently, so we are just getting the garden back up and running and the sheep are happy. Unfortunately no chickens this year. In a vehicle, you can pull into one of our pastures for your stay. Where you are depends on which field the sheep are eating! Tents also work in the field. We do not have any hookups, but there is potable water in the blue hydrant by the yellow tube. The fields are that - pasture fields. There are quiet neighbors across the fence who now have goats on one side. We are happy to offer advice about local attractions via messaging. This is pack it in, pack it out.

Welcome to our 20-acre working Quarter Horse ranch just outside Polson, set on open Montana prairie with clear views of the Mission Mountains rising along the horizon. The land borders a neighboring Red Angus ranch and carries the quiet rhythm of real agricultural ground, where days move slowly and the sky feels wide. This is authentic ranch land, thoughtfully cared for and lived on. We raise foundation-bred Quarter Horses known for their calm temperament and steady presence. Guests will see the horses grazing, resting, and moving naturally through the pasture as the light shifts across the prairie. There is no riding offered. Their presence is part of the experience, offering a grounded sense of calm that comes from being near good horses on open land. We offer four RV sites with water, septic, and electricity, located together for convenience and easy access. The setup is simple, functional, and designed for travelers who value comfort without excess. This is not a resort setting but a working ranch environment with honest amenities and peaceful surroundings. Mornings arrive quietly with soft prairie light and birdsong. Evenings stretch long and golden, with wide skies, open views, and dark, star-filled nights. The atmosphere here is unhurried and restorative, shaped by the land rather than the schedule. Rustic luxury here means space to breathe, quiet you can feel, and the confidence of being somewhere real. It’s cowboy luxury without polish—clean air, open prairie, and land that invites you to slow down. The ranch is a short drive from town and about eight minutes from Flathead Lake, making it easy to enjoy local dining, supplies, and recreation while returning to peaceful prairie evenings. This property is best suited for respectful guests who appreciate livestock, quiet surroundings, and the slower pace of Montana ranch life. If you’re seeking loud gatherings or party energy, this may not be the right fit. If you’re drawn to prairie sunsets, mountain views, and calm, grounded spaces, you’ll feel right at home. You’ll share the ranch with horses, free-ranging chickens, and occasionally goats brought in to manage weeds naturally. Livestock come and go with the seasons, adding to the living rhythm of the land.
