The cottage has two double beds in the lower level bedroom as well as a queen bed in the upper level loft. A futon couch in the living room folds out to a double bed, as needed. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils of every kind. Both the stove and refrigerator are full size, there is also a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and the kitchen table seats six. Bed linens, towels, pillows and blankets are supplied. The property has history - you can see remnants of the Lynch in-ground waterslide locals enjoyed in the 70s winding down our ridge. The Baker Lodge was built on the slide entrance, with our sleeping cabins overlooking both the trees down the ridge and the slide. Cute little cabin. It is literally right behind the boardwalk. So pros and cons there. We were there during the week and surprisingly it wasn't loud. They are very clean. Linens were clean. Bed was decent, yet i slept. There is defiantly rules and restrictions, none that worked against us. Recommend asking questions, they are very responsive and have front desk phone support. The pool closed early and opened late, so that was unfortunate, if you were having plans most of the day. They were still working out the kinks on some of the bonus amenities. The bathrooms/showers were clean, yet could use a little upgrade. But for the price it was a great little stay, and would stay again.

Mulberry hill is the perfect place to get away! The yurt was amazing! We always tent camp so it was so nice not having to worry about setting everything up and just relax! The stargazing was incredible, we could see a bit of the Milky Way and saw 4 shooting stars! We will definitely be back!

1 night at Explore the Ozarks - Dockley Ranch
I was invited 4 years ago and finally made it. I desperately needed time to myself (alone) to reset and to find peace. Dockley Ranch is a sanctuary, a place to just sit still and feel the natural beauty of this planet. I had everything I could need including coffee. Instructions were clear. I was welcomed by employees who gave a tour of my cabin and explained how every thing worked including a friendly visit from the Alpaca.
Recommendation. Bring bug spray for the trail. I brought some amazon boxes to use as a fire starter. Bring flip flops for the shower or to have in hand to enjoy the waterfall. Follow their driving directions and drive slow. Enjoy the views. I plan on bringing my children next.

Mulberry Hill glamping tent was incredible! Wonderful view of the creek from the camp site, and easily accessible down to the creek bank. We got to see river otters and squirrels both mornings we were there. The air mattress in the tent is comfortable, and the tent provides a ton of space. The A/C unit works exceptionally well, and, to our surprise, there was even a small coffee machine. The campsite is equipped with an outhouse, but we were also able to schedule shower times up at the local small church house. Great for couples and families alike! 10/10!

Weekend Trip to Dally Ridge Ranch - Barnabus
We had a relaxing time and enjoyed the beautiful scenery all around. The cabin was nice and cozy and the perfect place to hang out while it was raining. As well as good proximity to multiple good lake spots, would highly recommend if your visiting the area 👍

Loved Dockley Ranch SO much and can’t wait to go back. The pups, goats, alpaca, chickens, mushrooms, Claire, and Myke were all so welcoming! We explored the trails every day, used the awesome fire pit every night, and we still didn’t want to leave after our long weekend.

Four nights here is the perfect amount of time to reset and return to the world. Recommend the route from the East through Alva even if you have to circle around. Double recommend if you have passengers prone to motion sickness. Triple recommend because Alva is cute, and has Melancholy Coffee Roasters.

We stayed in the modern cabin #1 and had a very pleasant stay. The campground is small and backs up to a creek. You're close to Branson attractions but not in the middle of them like on the strip. I highly recommend you check them out if your headed to the area.

Weekend Trip to Explore the Ozarks - Dockley Ranch
The farm was wonderful. Was visited by goats and an alpaca also several very friendly dogs hung out with me while stargazing. Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! Very much appreciated the warm cabin this cold December weekend! The hilltop/hammock area has an amazing view of the night sky. So happy to have watched the 2025 Geminids from here and would totally stay out here again.

Weekend Trip to lightning Bug Hideaway
We loved the tiny off-grid house on this gorgeous property. It had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend getaway including a cozy bed, kitchen basics, and outdoor fire pit with chairs. We also enjoyed exploring the land and creek close by. Rob showed us around upon arriving. He was friendly and made us feel quite welcome.

Cabin was large, two bedrooms, couch and loft. Every was very clean and well stocked. Staff is helpful and the park is cozy. Water had sulfuric smell, it’s like mineral water coming out of the faucet 😜

Weekend Trip to The Ridge at Buffalo Point
We had so much fun at this cabin! It’s the right size for a weekend getaway with a bed, small Roku TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, grill, and fire pit. The private bathhouse was a short walk from the cabin and was nice after a long day of outdoor activities. The property also offers a disc golf totem, swings, and open area to run around in. The location is also really close to the lower area of the Buffalo River. Easily a 5-10 minute drive to anything. Also, loved having Wild Bills, a gas station and convenience store, a short walk away for anything we forgot or needed. Loved meeting the gray kitty on the property. He was an absolute sweetheart and loved pets. Would definitely stay here again!!

I stayed in the Tent Village for 4 days while I visited Missouri to view some caves. Claire was easy to get in contact with and so hospitable. The property was stunning and I enjoyed exploring its trails, including one with a waterfall. Also, the warm outdoor shower felt luxurious. I can’t wait to visit this property again soon!

The cabin was well put together, and my family loved the charm of the ranch. Having a hot outdoor shower was wonderful. Even as a family of 6, it seemed like there was plenty of extra room to move around the cabin when needed. The kids loved the experience, and the parents were more than satisfied. Our only gripe is that we didn't plan more time to explore. Next time we'll have to stay a couple days at least!
