The cottage is well furnished, very private, and includes convenient outdoor outlets for overnight electric vehicle charging. We're in close proximity to the Buffalo River at Buffalo Point park and also the historic mining town of Rush, and access to Redbud Cottage is along our private and well-maintained one-mile gravel road. The cottage has two double beds in the lower level bedroom as well as a queen bed in the upper level loft. A futon couch in the living room folds out to a double bed, as needed. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils of every kind. Both the stove and refrigerator are full size, there is also a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and the kitchen table seats six. Bed linens, towels, pillows and blankets are supplied. The bath is a tub and shower combination. There is a charcoal grill in the yard, but please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Enjoy our screened deck, covered picnic area, and outdoor fire pit and there is ample level parking for vehicles, canoes, and other outdoor gear. We offer Satellite TV. Our 3 acres are on the road leading to Buffalo Point river access on the Buffalo National River.
The property has history - you can see remnants of the Lynch in-ground waterslide locals enjoyed in the 70s winding down our ridge. The Baker Lodge was built on the slide entrance, with our sleeping cabins overlooking both the trees down the ridge and the slide. The house on property was once a restaurant and was converted to a duplex to host travelers to the Buffalo River years ago.
Our acreage adjoins the Buffalo National River Park boundaries and you can explore around the ridge. Buffalo Point is literally at the end of our street. Four nights here is the perfect amount of time to reset and return to the world. Recommend the route from the East through Alva even if you have to circle around. Double recommend if you have passengers prone to motion sickness. Triple recommend because Alva is cute, and has Melancholy Coffee Roasters.

We stayed in the modern cabin #1 and had a very pleasant stay. The campground is small and backs up to a creek. You're close to Branson attractions but not in the middle of them like on the strip. I highly recommend you check them out if your headed to the area.

The farm was wonderful. Was visited by goats and an alpaca also several very friendly dogs hung out with me while stargazing. Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! Very much appreciated the warm cabin this cold December weekend! The hilltop/hammock area has an amazing view of the night sky. So happy to have watched the 2025 Geminids from here and would totally stay out here again.

We loved the tiny off-grid house on this gorgeous property. It had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend getaway including a cozy bed, kitchen basics, and outdoor fire pit with chairs. Weekend Trip to The Ridge at Buffalo Point
We had so much fun at this cabin! It’s the right size for a weekend getaway with a bed, small Roku TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, grill, and fire pit. The private bathhouse was a short walk from the cabin and was nice after a long day of outdoor activities. The property also offers a disc golf totem, swings, and open area to run around in. The location is also really close to the lower area of the Buffalo River. Easily a 5-10 minute drive to anything. Also, loved having Wild Bills, a gas station and convenience store, a short walk away for anything we forgot or needed. Loved meeting the gray kitty on the property. He was an absolute sweetheart and loved pets. Would definitely stay here again!!

I stayed in the Tent Village for 4 days while I visited Missouri to view some caves. Claire was easy to get in contact with and so hospitable. The property was stunning and I enjoyed exploring its trails, including one with a waterfall. Also, the warm outdoor shower felt luxurious. I can’t wait to visit this property again soon!

Very nice campground. My kids loved the swings and tree house. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Would highly recommend to anyone!

With kids
The cabin was well put together, and my family loved the charm of the ranch. Having a hot outdoor shower was wonderful. Even as a family of 6, it seemed like there was plenty of extra room to move around the cabin when needed. The kids loved the experience, and the parents were more than satisfied. Our only gripe is that we didn't plan more time to explore. Next time we'll have to stay a couple days at least!

Our stay at Grassy Roads was very much needed! The owners were very friendly and whenever I had questions, Jonathan responded very promptly. The land was beautiful to look at while sitting by the campfire. The lights on the treehouse were a great touch. I do believe on our next stay, we will be trying the glamping site or a cabin. Hopefully it’ll be sooner rather than later. Overall, I highly recommend this venue.

Weekend Trip to Dally Ridge Ranch
The barnabus was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and super charming. The hosts were kind, responsive, and very helpful. We loved the hot tub, firepit, and portable BBQ—perfect for two. Great view from the patio, and if you love animals, this place is a bonus. Highly recommend!

The campsite was absolutely gorgeous and in a perfect location! We ended up getting rained out of our tents and the hosts were so accommodating and let us upgrade to the covered yurt on site for our last night stay! Will absolutely stay here again and recommend to everyone
