Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. (Please do not drive up to our gate and try to get in. Please make a reservation in advance.) Although we cater to adults only we follow TNSF and AANR guidelines for social nude recreation. If you are not familiar with TNSF or AANR you can do a quick internet search and see some basic guidelines for social nude recreation. Sunset Mountain does typically operate as a blind service venue meaning we do business online and we and or our maintenance team may not be seen during your stay. We have a good team in place to help your stay be enjoyable please just understand we don’t operate like some of the clubs you may be used to. Sunset Mountain is near the Elk River in Noel Missouri and close to Northwest Arkansas where there are mountain biking trails, museums and many other activities. Sunset Mountain is listed on the Monarch Butterfly Waystation registry as well. Come stay on the buff bluff! We are located 1.2 miles away from the Noel city park that has free Elk River access, 4 miles to Mt. We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. This land is a six acre slice of property that includes a meadow, wooded areas, a small pine forest, native stones galore, a steep mountain side, giant boulders, a wet weather stream and pond, and 2 old tin barns. From West to East, the property starts flat but then begins to slope upward as it runs from the base of Fitzgerald Mountain Eastward nearly to the top of the mountain. The former homestead was removed within the past 20 years, creating a fantastic spot for the campground. It is located a short distance from Fitzgerald Station, which was a well known stop on Military road (later known as Butterfield stage line) in the 1830’s. The camp is only 2 miles from historic downtown Springdale, which is an area undergoing exciting revitalization. A concrete trail is planned that will connect the camp area to downtown making biking to restaurants and pubs much easier in the near future. The Razorback Greenway runs through downtown, and provides a biking connection to all of Northwest Arknsas.Learn more about this land:Fitzgerald Mountain Van and RV Camp offers 2 RV spots (26' max) with ride in / ride out access to Fitzgerald Mountain's world class trails.  The mountain is home to OZ trails mountain biking and hiking for all levels. (look up OZ trails  - Fitzgerald Mountain)The 2 van camper/RV spots sit at the base of a shade tree and the entry to the “Goat Trail.”  This trail (named for the adjacent goat farm) will lead campers to the campfire area, "Fitzmo Barn", and Butterfield trail.  Fitzmo barn has a map where you can leave your mark by putting a pin in your hometown and signing the wall.  Leave your brand's sticker on the wall so other bikers and hikers can find their way to your hometown spots. The barn has chairs for the fire pit area, and can also provide some shelter if it rains.Butterfield trail crosses the camp area adjacent to Fitzmo Barn.   Head North on Butterfield to connect with blue and black trails including the “best trail ever” and fantastic views from the mountain top.  Head South to connect with trails for all skill levels including a strider course for the kids at Bayyari Park.  Bayyari Park is only 1/3 mile away and has public restrooms that I'm told "remain open until 10:00 PM year round unless there is extreme cold."The only neighbors of the camp have a small farm to the North, and their goats and peacock occasionally visit the camp’s Western field.  Other than these neighbors, the area feels secluded, especially at the fire pit and barn area. Fitzgerald is a historical area.  Fitzgerald station is nearby, and served as a stop on the Butterfield overland stagecoach mail route that was used in the 1800s. Downtown Springdale is 2 miles away, and the pubs and restaurants cater to bikers.  A paved trail is planned for the near future that will provide bike access to downtown.*Note* Backing up to a turn around area will be required for exit from the RV spots.

Sitting in the middle of an 850 acre nature preserve, you will have plenty of privacy to enjoy a getaway in the woods without being disturbed by other campers. This site is relatively flat and easy to access on the edge of a field along the tree line of the forest. You may notice old stone chimneys standing throughout the woods where cabins once stood, back when Lake Frances was a resort area in the 1920s. On this camp site, we have a Micro Cabin that is wired for a generator (not provided) that sleeps 2, or bring your own tent and enjoy the view of the stars. We have several private campsites sprinkled throughout the forest reserve for you to stay at as you enjoy the Illinois River, hike, or bike the trails. The mountain bike trails run very close to this site and the White Water Park is about 2 miles down the gravel road. The trailhead for the paved bike trail is around the corner from this campsite and goes all the way down to WOKA. There is an off road bike trail located right next to the field by this campsite along with several other trails. There are many more miles of additional mountain bike trails in town and on the north side of Siloam. WOKA has 8 low-hazard whitewater features, seasonal rentals of kayaks, rafts, paddle boards and actual surf boards, and concessions, with shaded viewing. Changing facilities and restrooms are on-site at WOKA. The Siloam Springs Kayak Park is located up river on Fisher Ford Rd, and has access for swimming and tubing. If you enjoy riding dirt bikes or quads, there is the family friendly Off-road race track, Gas MX, directly across the highway from Woka. We also have dirt track racing at Arrowhead Speedway nearby in West Siloam Springs, West of the Casino.

This was our second stay at Riverdream, and we love it! Beautiful sky without light pollution, no noise from traffic or what I guess you'd call "city life." My husband & I stayed in a tent both trips, and we were comfortable in each site. Toilet/showers are extremely clean and always stocked. Water flow and temperature is great. Kings River is a short mosey away from camp. Berryville on one side, Eureka Springs on the other. The Hosts have always been kind and quick to assist when we needed it. Their land is perfect for a quick weekend getaway, or a lengthy stay. (You won't regret either one.)

Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away. This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. We have 15 beautiful acres of different terrain, with tree line surrounding the property; the forest area is great for our tent campers with multiple areas of seclusion and great stargazing. Great area to walk around and explore the wildlife or the guinea hen and turtles we have on the property. For our self-contained RVers we have various areas to utilize the grass but yet still close to shade, some with picnic tables, fire pits and some without but we are growing into those features for all sites. Neither area has table or firepit as of yet. Animals are welcome but we ask they stay on a leash. We have spotted several turtles on the property, and we have free roaming guinea fowl to help keep down on the pesky bugs. We do have mosquitos, tics etc. on the property so please come prepared. We have a 13,000 sq ft building with Military Surplus, flags, FREE morning coffee and a small vending machine with drinks, snacks and ice cream in freezer 7 days a week 9am to 5pm. We do have locked gates after hours, so please let us know if you need a gate code. We make it easy to get in and out of the property with three entrances/exits and large enough for big rigs to pull in. We are on US HWY 60, aprox. 1.5 miles West of Indigo Sky Casino and a short 3 miles from River Bend Casino and Twin Bridges State Park. We are close to Grand Lake which is a premier fishing location and host top professional fishing tournaments here. Grand Lake is great for Large Mouth Bass, bluegill, smallmouth bass, white crappie and channel catfish. If you're looking for something different, they are known for having spoonbill as well. A Boutique Cycling Destination Our goal is to provide a clean and comfortable place where cyclists of all kinds can surround themselves with a community of like-minded individuals and a space designed exclusively for cyclists and their needs. We would like to extend the sense of community that we all experience while on the trails to a place where travelers can call home while they are exploring all NW Arkansas has to offer. Due to Zoning Restrictions, we are unable to host Class A, Class C, or any form of pull behinds. Our pads will accommodate up to a 25' rig. We have 30 Amp service located behind each pad and water on site to fill your holding tanks, as you pull in, at the Bike Wash Station. There is NO waste dump on site. We now have a Guest Lounge and Shower House for our Camping guests. The Lounge and Shower house features a full kitchen, living room, 2 restrooms, and a shower. We also encourage our guests to take advantage of the Heated Outdoor Shower. Free WIFI, picnic tables, BBQ Grill, Huge community fire-pit, firewood, Trailmaps, Muc-off bike wash station, 2 bike repair stands, in a park like setting in the middle of Bentonville.
