This spot was kissed by the angels. The fishing is fantastic. The deer, eagles, farrets , beavers, foxes, woodpeckers, cardinals, trees, breeze, mist on the river , sunsets and sunrises , stars so bright they shine like diamonds, ——— yet inside you have the hot shower massager head and flatscreen smart TVs. It’s truly a perfect mix of quiet and relax with the ease and convenience of nature and creature comforts. Park at your modern cabin on the edge of the White River in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Welcome to Grassy Road Cabins & Camping, a peaceful 23-acre getaway in the heart of the Ozarks. Our property blends rolling pasture, patches of forest, and a beautiful recreational fishing pond—perfect for morning coffee, quiet walks, and unforgettable sunsets. We’re ideally located between two popular Buffalo National River access points, South Maumee and Spring Creek, giving you fast, easy access to some of the best floating and hiking in Arkansas. Choose from three cozy tiny-house cabins, 3 electric tent sites, 3 primitive tent sites, and 9 full-hookup RV sites with 20/30/50 amp, water, and sewer. Two of our RV sites are big-rig friendly pull-throughs ideal for Class A motorhomes. All guests have access to our clean two-unit bathhouse with hot showers, treehouse play area, trails, fishing pond, and our new hillside group fire pit for evening gatherings under dark, starry skies. Check-in is simple and self-guided, making arrivals easy at any time. Firewood is available for purchase, and kayaks and life jackets may be borrowed—just message us first and return them in good condition. We encourage guests to explore the property’s trails, enjoy catch-and-release fishing, or head to the river for paddling and swimming. The Buffalo River Trail crosses South Maumee Road and leads to stunning bluffs and seasonal waterfalls. With an Arkansas fishing license, you can fish both on-site and in the Buffalo. Nearby towns Marshall and Leslie offer great local restaurants like Skylark Café and Red River Café. Blanchard Springs Caverns, only 30 miles away, makes for an incredible day trip. Dog Policy: We are dog friendly for RVs and cabins, but dogs must remain leashed and owners must clean up after them. Please note that tent campers should only bring experienced outdoor dogs—many indoor-only pets bark all night due to wildlife sounds, which disturbs the entire campground. Whether you’re here to float the river, hike the Ozarks, relax with family, or simply enjoy a quiet night around the fire, Grassy Road Cabins & Camping is your perfect basecamp for adventure.

Falling Stars at Bull Shoals Lake — Glamping an Hour South of Branson An hour south of Branson and 90 minutes from Springfield, Missouri, Falling Stars sits on a hilltop above Bull Shoals Lake in north central Arkansas — just ten miles over the Missouri-Arkansas line in Oakland, AR. Six geodesic domes overlook one of the largest, cleanest lakes in the South. The pace slows the moment you arrive. The closest real wilderness escape for Branson, Springfield, and Northwest Arkansas. After entering through our gate, you'll drive half a mile to encounter six geodesic domes, perfectly placed across the hilltop. Each dome has a private hot tub, fire pit, and a view that includes the lake, the stars, or the deep Ozark forest. Domes 1–4 have premium lake views; Dome 5 is the largest and best for groups; Dome 6 trades the view for the deepest forest setting on the property. These domes work for couples, families, and groups who want the outdoors without the camping. Real beds. Real bathrooms. Hot tubs under open sky. Dark Ozark night skies above. Getting Here from Branson, Springfield, and Northwest Arkansas 1 hour south of Branson, MO (a Branson weekend without staying in the Branson crowd) 1.5 hours southeast of Springfield, MO (the biggest nearby metro) 3 hours east of Fayetteville and Bentonville, AR 3 hours northwest of Little Rock, AR 15 minutes to Mountain Home, AR (closest full-service town — groceries, fuel, hardware) 3 miles to Oakland Marina (closest boat launch) What's Here Bull Shoals Lake — one of the cleanest lakes in the South, over 1,000 miles of shoreline. One of the better-kept secrets in the region. White River — world-class trout fishing 40 minutes south. Brown trout, rainbow trout, the works.
