PeaceTree Farms

PeaceTree Farms is a charming Event Venue, Organic Farm and Outdoor Resort. Hosting everything from weddings, fall and holiday festivals to off-grid camping. Our 153 acre farm has been in our family since the 1970's and has been generally preserved as a wildlife and conservation farm. Your hosts, Katie and Steve are excited to share PeaceTree Farms with fellow nature lovers and outdoor adventurers.

Shadow Wood RV and tiny house

The property is 2.5 acres the top 150 to 200 feet is flat and can set up circle tent sites on then it slows down just a little and there are four available RV sites three with electric and water and the other one could have a hose and extension cord run to it. There is a tiny house that has electric and hydrant just outside for water. It is in the process of being completed with a bed and bath and kitchen area also have a hide a bed couch, microwave and toaster oven when finished

Sudden Valley Ranch

Our home was built shortly after the couple married in 1904.  We were fortunate enough to begin our adventure here in 1999.  We appreciate all this place has to offer - from the hay fields to the woods and everything in between.  It is a peaceful paradise we enjoy sharing with others.  Please come and relax, read a book, draw a picture, or simply let the sounds of nature lull you to sleep.  We believe you will leave rejuvenated!  

This spacious site is at the far edge of one of our hayfields/horse pastures.  You can see the outhouse is a comfortable distance from the main area.

Katy Haus

Marthasville is over 200 years old and the last home of Daniel Boone. It is also a campsite of Lewis and Clark as they explored the Missouri River.The Katy Trail is right across the street from the Katy Haus. The trail was once the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad, was converted to a biking trail in the 1980s, and is a part of the Missouri State Park.According to the locals, the original building at this address was the first hotel in town. Now, it is a 1 bedroom cottage made available to those coming to explore Marthasville, Missouri wine country, and the Katy Trail.Learn more about this land:A cute little house on the Katy Trail.Bring your bikes, bring your dog, bring your friends.After a long day of riding the Katy Trail and enjoying the local wineries and breweries, or maybe you are in the area celebrating a wedding, the Katy Haus is your place to kick back and relax.THE LOCATIONLocated nearly on the Katy Trail in Marthasville, Missouri, the Katy Haus is in Missouri wine country and less than an hour from St. Louis.Bike shuttles and rentals are nearby, the best pizza in the county is steps from the door, and wineries are a short bike ride down the Katy Trail (or a 2 minute drive down the road).Ride the Amtrak train into Washington and have the shuttle bring you to the Katy Haus.THE SPACEThe Katy Haus is a one level little house with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom (handicapped friendly). It sleeps a total of 4 people and is dog friendly.The full kitchen has everything you need except to make your own meals, including place settings, pots and pans, wine glasses, and both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker.The single bedroom has a king size bed with crisp white linens from The Distinguished Guest and light blocking curtains for sleeping late.Bedding for the king size sofa sleeper is provided upon request. WINERIESLake Creek Winery is only 2 miles down the road. Blumenhof Winery in Dutzow is 6 miles by bike, and Augusta wineries and the Good News Brewery is 13 miles by bike.WEDDINGSAre you attending a wedding nearby at Boone Monument Village (2 minutes), Lake Creek Winery (2 minutes), or in the nearby town of Washington (8 minutes)? Teresa built Shalom Acres 7 years ago with a dream opening a Party Venue which now seats 100 guests in the Carriage House and 80 guests on the lower level.  Each year brings new upgrades now including BnB, Bunkhouse and campsites.  Her hope is you enter feeling the peace and tranquility Shalom means and leave refreshed and blessed!  Welcome.

My concrete pillar mailbox has our address on it, it is lit up at night and very easy to see on the edge of Dietrich Rd. own 6 fairly level acres in western St. Charles County. Typical evening and night is very quiet. I have approximately 500’ of frontage on Indian Camp Creek. Kayaking activities are available  without shuttle service. Indian Camp Creek County Park is less than 4 miles away offering mountain biking trails, hiking trails, equestrian trails, picnic pavilions, and frisbee golf. Incline Village Golf Course is about 1/2 mile away. Cedar Lake Winery is about a 15 minute drive.  I keep a 1/3 mile walking path mowed around the perimeter of my property.
