This is an off-grid glamping cabin. The parking area is just down the hill from the cabin. It's a short walk up to the cabin, you will need to across the foot bridge over the creek and up a few steps to the cabin. The terrain on the property could be muddy or loose at times. Always watch your footing. There is no running water, but there is an 8-gallon jug over the sink for drinking and washing. Extra water available for longer stays. Composting toilet outhouse behind the cabin. Compost toilet bucket is cleaned out after every guest. Propane hot water shower is only available in the warmer months (usually April through October). The cabin is powered by a small solar panel setup. Please do not plug in any personal devices. They could damage the electrical system or overwork it. USB charging dock for phones, laptops, etc. Good cell service with most providers. Basic LED lighting. Direct vent propane heater. Full size memory foam mattress with plenty of warm blankets. There is a two-burner propane cooktop and mini fridge. Bowls, plates, cups and silverware for two guests. Basic food prep items are also available. We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. This is an off-grid glamping cabin. The parking area is just down the hill from the cabin. It's a short walk up to the cabin, you will need to across the foot bridge over the creek and up a few steps to the cabin. The terrain on the property could be muddy or loose at times. Always watch your footing. There is no running water, but there is an 8-gallon jug over the sink for drinking and washing. Extra water available for longer stays. Composting toilet outhouse behind the cabin. Compost toilet bucket is cleaned out after every guest. Propane hot water shower is only available in the warmer months (usually April through October). The cabin is powered by a small solar panel setup. Please do not plug in any personal devices. They could damage the electrical system or overwork it. USB charging dock for phones, laptops, etc. Good cell service with most providers. Basic LED lighting. Direct vent propane heater. Full size memory foam mattress with plenty of warm blankets. There is a two-burner propane cooktop and mini fridge. Bowls, plates, cups and silverware for two guests. Basic food prep items are also available. We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Weekend Trip to Rocky Acres Retreat
Arriving we were greeted by the beautifully stoic hills and a dog resembling an old man greeting us yet remaining sceptical of our existence. Stepping out of the car we took our time breathing in the crisp, clean ozark air. The property is certainly tucked away creating a personal oasis. We happened to be the only campers that evening. Our airstream experience gave us all of the creature comforts we could desire for the nights stay we had. In the morning we were saddened to leave but very excited knowing such a place existed for us to return to.

We visited this glamping property as a group of five families and had an amazing experience. The tents were spacious, well-maintained, and spotless. We loved the overall setup, especially the cozy firepit area and the wide-open space where the kids could run around and play safely.
The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicated everything clearly, making us feel right at home.
Every one of us truly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this place and would absolutely love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

Weekend Trip to Explore the Ozarks - Dockley Ranch
The farm was wonderful. Was visited by goats and an alpaca also several very friendly dogs hung out with me while stargazing. Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! Very much appreciated the warm cabin this cold December weekend! The hilltop/hammock area has an amazing view of the night sky. So happy to have watched the 2025 Geminids from here and would totally stay out here again.

We loved staying here! Claire and Myke are so nice and their property feels private. The bed was comfy and our space was warm. We loved watching the goats and liked have the dogs near- they are very well-behaved. We’ll be back again soon!

This was an oasis of beauty and healing. I was a solo female camper. Mizzy was a great host and I could see her working to maintain the camp to its beauty. I felt very safe. The hippy van was great. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed all the special nature decor around the camp. Perfect views. Great fire pits. Loved the drive up the gravel road and back it’s breathtaking. Mizzy is there for you if you need her. Will be back. Thank you for letting me heal my heart and nervous system here this weekend! Peak fall leaves! My beagle Liberty enjoyed it too?

I absolutely loved staying in the container tiny home. I loved that each campsite was pretty private! Mizzy was the absolute best host. I sure hated to leave and cannot wait to come back. The container was decorated so cute!! You can definitely tell this was a labor of love.

This cabin and location are perfection. The amount of well-honed craft that went into building the cabin and its outbuildings like the shower and outhouse are stunning, but so, too, the thought that went into making a comfortable space for guests. The mini-fridge and the large amount of water in the kitchen were so welcome. The meandering trails made my dogs so happy as we walked them several times a day. Even the light fixtures are worth gazing upon. I left here rested and restored.

Kevin is a gracious host and the upstairs room was a welcome respite on a cold, windy, rainy night. It was clean and warm and roomy. He is new to Hipcamp and is still working on amenities but I had everything I needed because I’m car camping. I will return if in the area. Thanks Kevin!

Kevin is a gracious host. His place was welcomed shelter on a cold, rainy, very windy night. I was comfy cozy in the upstairs room. Kevin is new to Hipcamp and is still working on the amenities, but I had everything I needed with me since I was car camping. I even decided to stay a second night.

2 nights at Catkins Creek
Wonderful peaceful secluded getaway. This cozy cabin was just what was needed. The kitchen had the necessary items for stove top meals. The bed and linens where comfortable for a good nights sleep. A well kept outhouse. And a nice porch to sit in nature or if rain or cold a big window so you can sit inside and not feel too removed from the outdoors.
