We are the first Hipcamp patrons they have had. I must say they have put a lot of effort into this property. I believe it was a small 9-10 lot mobile home park previously. They have done a lot of improvements to make it what it is now. All new electrical and water hookups, new asphalt driveway and separate parking for cars at each space. The RV spaces are flat ( but not necessarily level) gravel spaces. It was a bit of a challenge to get our 38’ motorhome level on our site. The owners were very nice and attentive. The father lives in a house on properly. We chose this location thinking it was closer to Kansas City, which it isn’t; in fact the city with most restaurants, except for a few small local and fast food places, was about 20 minutes away. The area where the property is located is a “mixed use” neighborhood, an auto parts store on the corner, a few mobile homes across the street and single family residences on down the street. We walked our dogs on the neighborhood streets and did have two large unleashed dogs come toward us. The owner was outside and did call them back, but it made us a little leary. Overall it was a decent overnight spot, but not as convenient as we had anticipated.
