We offer shady campsites and fishing in two private lakes stocked with bass and bluegill. Lakes are for campers only! Campers can pick blueberries when they are in season (June-July)--limit 2 pints per site per day. Wildlife is abundant. You will hear owls and coyotes at night. Often bald eagles can be spotted at both lakes. Other wildlife you may see: deer, wild turkey, raccoons, opossums, fox, bobcat, coyote, rabbits, armadillo, otter, and squirrels. Please do not approach the wild animals! There is a pretty creek for those who like to creek walk. Petrified wood can be picked up in the creek bed. We are only 30 minutes from the University of Mississippi campus for people coming for ballgame weekends. We are only about 20 minutes from Grenada and Enid Reservoirs. These have some of the finest crappie fishing in the United States. We are located 2 miles east of the Trans America Trail.

This property has a limited number of spots available to rent per night until I can clear more. It’s heavily wooded, with gorgeous hardwoods to hike among and enjoy all the natural beauty. Pets are welcome on a leash, or you can set up a pen. Always practice fire safety. The lake is a lovely place to camp by. This site is completely primitive for a true outdoor, country feel — real laid-back vibes. No fighting or weapons allowed!
This place is too gorgeous not to share. You’ll feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere — a “hidden gem” — yet it’s only a few miles from a store. No hunting or harming animals is allowed, but fishing is fine. This spot is for the true outdoorsman or outdoorswoman looking for a break from the news and the internet. Very peaceful- the area is large, beautiful and relaxing. Horses grazing in the pasture, gorgeous sunrise & a friendly host made our night out camping fun. Clean restrooms available and a funny pair of donkeys by the barn. We walked the trail area with our dogs and enjoyed every moment.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed there. Again they treated us like family and with kindness and always helpful if we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying here if you are camping or in a camper anywhere around Bruce and water valley. It is a very pretty piece of property with lots of places to walk on trails or ride and 2 nice lakes you can fish. It is a great place to get away and relax for a couple of days.

Beautiful property that is a short drive from good hiking spots and Tupelo. Kitchenette area is a separate sun room, with comfortable seating, and is a nice bonus. There was no hot water when we were there and one of the neighbors was very loud (very loud TV or sound system - but not much the hosts can do about that).

Did not actually get to stay here. Through no fault of the host. Winter storm came in and I bypassed this one but told the host to keep the reservation. I will definitely try and make it back though. They were accommodating and understood. I’d rather they have the money for any needed repairs than nitpick it.
